I really enjoyed the food and show put on by this group. They preformed at our luaua party off of Lake Houston. The music was nice and I was able to become a part of the show while learning dance moves from their culture. The fire dance was pretty cool and I believe one of their female dancers could possibly be the most beautiful lady you will ever see in your life. Finally, the food was of the chain. We hired Drums of Pacific for a bachelorette party on Galveston Island - and it was such an amazing and unique event!! I can't say enough good things. They were so helpful to work with, really thoughtful in making the experience special for our friend's celebration. The staff showed up and made a phenomenal dinner (with a lot of food made on site!). Everything was delicious, fantastic presentation. After our group had an amazing dinner, the show was the best part! They did a few dance numbers, taught the group to hula, then let us take all the pictures we wanted (you know how bachelorettes do ) Also-- this was such a fun alternative to other type of entertainment for a bride to be! The Drums of the Pacific were wonderful at my 70th birthday.  The dancers, musicians, including Chief, were outstanding.  They were so much fun, that we treated them as part of the family and friends.  Cars were slowly passing by trying to see the entertainment in my back yard.  The whole roasted pig was also a great favorite of my 100 plus guests.  The skin was like wonderful Louisiana Pork Skin Crackling.  The chicken, rice, noodles, and steam vegetables were also delicious.  We are planning on having them again for our family reunion.   Thank you again for a birthday party that is unforgettable and still being talked about as the best party ever.      From Beaumont, Texas More...

I requested a Haka dance for my moms funeral and within one week Drums of the Pacific got a group of men together to perform a beautiful Haka dance. They worked with me every step of the way and made my moms funeral so special. The performance was so powerful and everything I hoped for. This was the BEST HAWAIAN LUAU we ever experienced! My wife and I were in Maui, Hawaii, and we thoroughly enjoyed the DRUMS OF THE PACIFIC LUAU at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.  This luau was an amazing celebration of Maui, Pacific culture, love and humanity. We experienced continuous dazzling music and dance performances throughout the evening - including several audience-engaging activities, like on-stage hula lessons for 50+ children and then more lessons for volunteering adults. The stage production was lavish, choreography exciting, and costumes beautiful. There were also a few personal celebrations - such as an on-stage wedding engagement proposal from a delightful couple in the audience. The dancing, music and singing were wonderful, the male and female performers were fabulous, and the high-energy host continued to mesmerize the audience non-stop throughout the evening.  As an additional bonus, the wide variety of food was delicious and table service was fantastic, efficient, and super friendly! Drums of the Pacific, thank you for an amazing time on 12/22/18.  We had a miscommunication in June, however, you all redeemed yourselves.  As a business owner, I know that things happen when you are transition and upgrading.  You all did a great job of making it up to my mom.  She enjoyed the food, band and dancers.  Mom is 85.  I sincerely appreciated the stellar and sincere customer service.  You all started on time.  The band was awesome and the dancers were amazing.  We enjoyed the food and our dance lessons.While we got off on a shaky note, I would recommend you all to anyone.  My mom has stated that she would like to have you all come out, next June for her 86th birthday.  I think that alone says volumes.We thank you and appreciate you all.Anyone looking for awesome entertainment for their event, don't hesitate to call Drums of the Pacific.  Please like their Facebook page. We booked Drums of the Pacific for our onsite holiday party for nearly 200 people and we couldn't have been happier! The catering was delicious and the roast pig went over very well. The Hula and Fire shows were extensive and exciting and the band was wonderful, they even played music for our limbo game. We contacted Chief Tama at The drums of the pacific for a whole roasted Hawaiian pig for a birthday party. Right from the get go, Chief tama was very responsive to our emails and made the booking process painless.

On the day of the party, Chief and Chef Charles arrived on location fully prepared. They roasted the whole pig on a spit, on-site.
They decorated the pig and helped carve it and ready for our guests.

We had an amazing time having them over. The food, which included the pig, fried rice, mahi mahi and macaroni salad was delicious. They even adjusted the recipes for the fried rice and the salad to make them fully vegetarian for some of our guests.

Other than booking them, we barely had to do anything at all. They managed everything for us. I can’t recommend them enough! More...

I hired them because I wanted a luau to celebrate my 40th birthday. Boy, did they deliver! The food was amazing, the entertainment was fabulous! They came a couple hours before the party started and transformed my backyard into a relaxing tropical paradise. Throughout the party, they checked with me to make sure everything was fine and to keep me on track with the time. At the end of the party, they cleaned the space and left it looking as if they weren't even there.  I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an authentic luau experience. More...

We had a company party and they did such an amazing job. I felt like I was back on O'ahu at a luau. The food was delicious, dancers were not only good but friendly.
