I have 1 Miniature Pitcher, 1Pomeranian Yorkie mix, and 2 Miniature Pitcher. My Pomeranian/Yorkie and my Miniature Pitcher, adult dogs, matted prior to me getting them fixed adding the two new members to our family. Not wanting to break up the family, I kept all four dogs. Prior to the American Dream Dogz training by Nick these dogs barked all the time. So much so, that I was ready to get rid of all them. I am a military veteran and my PTSD was really at it's peek with these dogs. I loved these dogs and it hurts me to think of getting rid of them but it was either me get rid of them, to keep my sanity, or me end up in the hospital. I was at the end of my rope, I was going to give this dog training just one last try since I have tried numerous other ways and contraptions for training dogs and nothing else seemed to work. If this did not work, then they had to go. I am SO glad I chose this option prior to getting rid of my buddies! Only after the trial run these dogs stop all of their barking. Of course they were not quiet all the time because if they always were, they would not be dogs. However, after the tricks Nick showed my wife and I, they were and are VERY manageable now. These are my children so to speak, since mine are grown now, and if I would have gotten rid of them I do not know what I would have done, thanks Nick! Let me also say the classes are very affordable and he is veteran friendly. I would most definitely give this service five star, two thumbs up, whatever positive to its highest extremity. Working with Nick was phenomenal. Within 2 sessions our puppy showed great response. What Nick shows you on training is the foundation for repetitiveness in between sessions with your dog. Put the time in to continue the training and your dog will be well behaved and responsive. Nick is extremely responsive on any communication even outside of the training sessions and very flexible. Nick was great with my barking and pulling poodle, Coco. He is knowledgeable, patient, and kind, but firm. He was always accommodating when scheduling, texted appointment reminders, and was always on time. After the consultation and three sessions, Coco’s behavior has improved greatly. We had a great experience and results working with Nick. Nick is very professional, knowledgeable and patient with dogs and owners! We did one on one sessions and the results were incredible. Nick takes his time explaining everything as it’s as much training for the owner as it is for the dog. It’s the best investment any owner can do. Our dog, Chile, was aggressive towards some dogs and he needed basic training to be in public and walking off leash. I am very happy with the results. I don’t have to be embarrassed or limited taking my dog places any longer. I can take him any place I want and he is such a joy to be around. You have a difficult dog, and it may not be the best "match" for you based on his temperament and energy levels, but I will give you credit for all of your hard work and for taking several hours worth of follow-up hand-off training with me post board & train. Nick is a wealth of knowledge and was incredibly helpful in teaching me how to correctly use an e collar to get my dog off leash! He was helpful in correcting some problematic behaviors. 10 out 10 would recommend. We did one on one weekly training and my dog made significant progress! I can now take him on hikes and walks without the fear of him taking off. I will say- nick will give you the tools but it is really the owners responsibility to follow through and be consistent with the dog. More...

I dropped my dog off for two weeks with Nick. My dog not walks without a leash, ignites people and other dogs unless I give her the command it is okay. We were truly blessed to have found Nick. After having a serious accident while walking our Old English Sheepdog, I was afraid to walk him again. Nick came to our house to evaluate our dog and assured us that he could help. After the first lesson, our dog was able to heel and sit on command. During the next lesson, Nick convinced me to walk our dog on the street (we don’t have sidewalks). Nick walked along side me and I eventually relaxed. Nick brought his dog as a distraction and our dog did great. Due to some health issues, we had to reschedule the next lesson and Nick was very accommodating. I was very impressed with Nick. He was kind, professional, thoughtful and efficient. He took my dog for a "test walk" and then gave me some very practical suggestions for walking her. He basically trained me as I walked her. I was astonished to see that after only a few short minutes she was walking by my side. It was the first time in over 3 years that she has actually walked by my side. She has had at least 3 trainers and I have watched countless videos on walking a dog with a loose leash, and this was the first time she has achieved it. Strongly recommend! Nick was with my American Bulldog for about 90 minutes and just in that short amount of time she has done a complete 180 from her previous incessant barking, not listening and jumping on people. We did a two-week board and train and I can honestly say it was the best decision I could’ve made for both Zorro and I! We met with Nick before we booked the training and he was so open and transparent about his methods, he was so gentle with Zorro and mindful about what my goals were and was never pushy about booking through him. After the two week stay, Zorro came to us as a more confident, calm, and obedient dog! He no longer pulls, he is friendlier with dogs, he’s calm around people and doesn’t resource guard since he’s returned training. I feel confident taking him out in public and he’s even off-leash obedient! Zorro is still a work in progress, training will be life-long but Nick is awesome and provides additional sessions so we can learn all about how to what Zorro learned in his two-week stay and how to properly handle him. I can call Nick to set up sessions whenever I feel Zorro (or I) need refreshers on the training techniques, I am so grateful for that. I am a much more confident dog handler now and have the tools both physically and emotionally to prevent Zorro from misbehaving and to correct appropriately and SAFELY when/if he steps out of line and that is all I wanted for us. Really enjoyed working with Nick. Before he started with my 11 month old GSD puppy Kylo, I could barely walk her without fear of her becoming reactive at the other dogs in our neighborhood. She would bark and lunge and although I knew she was fine with other dogs off leash it was at the very least embarrassing. After training with Nick, Kylo has gotten infinitely better. We can walk within feet of other dogs without lunging and I've been able to hang up her corrective prong collar. From the initial consultation with the trainer, Nick, I was sure we had chosen well. Professional, punctual, knowledgeable, and took his time listening, asking all the right questions, and getting to know our 6 month old German Shepherd. We booked 8 sessions, and he helped us with his leash reactivity, mouthing, jumpin up, and beginning recall. My experience working with Dream DogzSF was very encouraging because I had Nick Ghattas as my dogs trainer. No dog is untrainable or unrehabilitatable. Your work with Remus in between our sessions together is where all of the progress and learning is taking place. Keep it up. There is nothing preventing him from achieving Dream Dog status in the not-so-distant future!
