These guys do a great job. I never got to see Prince even though I was a huge fan. During the Purple Rain era it was like gospel for me. Dean Ford & The Beautiful Ones handled that stuff expertly. They’re all great musicians and they really do it justice. Dean has the Prince characterization down. It really felt like getting to see the Prince show I wish I could’ve seen at times. The other guitar player also really rocks and handles the high backup vocals really well too. He’s a major player in the band also although they all handle their parts well. The stage decorations also have a good Purple Rain era vibe. They cover early stuff through the early 90s so you get the whole range of hits (and some deep tracks) but the heavy Purple Rain emphasis really worked for me. Computer Blue... hell yeah! More...
