We knew right from the first meeting that DJ Dan Paulish was who we wanted for our wedding day entertainment. He took the time to get to know use and our preferences to make our day truly special. My husband and I wanted the entertainment portion of the reception to be the best party for us and our guests. DJ Dan was there every step of the way to ensure it was the party of the year! Dan is a great person! Provided great communication, follow up and follow through and service at such a reasonable price. Arrived on time. We initially hired him to play some background music and due to weather conditions we were moved to an indoor space making it more of a party than outdoor dinner but he had no issue with our last minute changes and did everything accordingly. Best DJ Ever!! Seriously, we wish Dr. DJ could have helped plan our whole wedding with us! He was the most responsive, respectful and entertaining vendor we had. We would recommend Dr. DJ to anyone planning their special day as he was extremely willing to work with our music taste and provide great recommendations based on his expertise in the industry. We are VERY particular with our music choice as my new husband (!) and I are big music buffs - we constantly were updating excels and Dr. DJ's extremely easy to use music request site, so we were probably not the easiest to work with. I found DJ Dan Paulish from a google search. He was the only one that answered my inquiry. I decided to use him. The price was great. He went above and beyond my expectatations. We were having a "roast" for my husbands 60th birthday. We had last minute changes up until the end. (Speakers and videos) He was incredible with all the changes. The music selection for dinner hour was great. He did a great job "MCing" the event. The roast went long, but he rolled with it. He was wonderful!!! He's a real professional. He was right on time with all the necessary equipment. He really "made" our party a great and super fun success. We're a 55+ year old building and had all ages out on the dance floor. He played a couple of romantic favorite requests and a good mix of rock and country and all-time favorites. Extremely organized, super courteous, and one of the best things to happen to our wedding. He knew enough to make recommendations and offer suggestions, but didn't try to force our hand. His service was excellent and he responded to my messages, emails and calls right away . Everyone loved the music selection and the party was a big hit. To put it simply, we could not have asked for a better DJ than Daniel Paulish. Planning a destination wedding is difficult, and we were determined to find a DJ that was not cheesy. Daniel Paulish is the exact opposite of cheesy. Words that come to mind when I think about the entire experience with Daniel - all the correspondence, meeting in person, the actual wedding - are: classy, respectful, fun, light-hearted, professional... He answered all of my 100 questions, gave us awesome suggestions for everything from the timing of different parts of our wedding to the uplighting colors, and was the absolute, most perfect DJ we could have hoped for at our wedding. D.J. was professional and helpful throughout the entire process. I had never had to plan a wedding before and he helped me enormously. He was the first deejay I interviewed and after meeting several, I went right back to him. He had brilliant ideas and did an absolutely gorgeous job for my son's wedding. His prices were exceedingly reasonable for all that he did, and he and his partner were a riot at the wedding. This is my first time I've written a review for anybody, and I'm writing it because picking Dr DJ Paulish was the best decision that my husband and I made during our party planning process. Dan is the best, he is so professional, he made everything very easy. Dan and his associate John were absolutely perfect for our wedding day. Dan is a fantastic communicator and made sure that each and every detail was in place before the big day. Each and every time i emailed or called Dan, he responded well within 24 hours (usually sooner) and each time we spoke he made sure that he followed up with any details and ensured that we were on the same page. The first time my husband and I met Dan, we had a blast. It felt like we were grabbing drinks with a friend had known for years. He listened to me and my husband's concerns, requests, and desires for our wedding day. He took everything we said seriously and made sure that our wedding was unique, and that the music at the ceremony, cocktail, and reception was catered to our specific tastes. Its been one week since the wedding, and people are still commenting to me about how amazing the music was. I completely trusted Dan to play within our requested guidelines, which he absolutely did, but he is a true professional and knew when to play certain things to get people on the dance floor and having fun.
