Dr. Barry Marks is the best chiropractor ever.
I was rear-ended by another car a couple of months ago shortly afterwards, I began to have back and shoulder pain. I called his office and was able to schedule same day appointment. I went into his office for consult, x-rays and immediately started treatment 3 times a week. He also gave me some home exercises that helped vanish my pain. I got pregnant during my treatment. I had a car accident back in May and I was referred to Dr. Marks from a friend that had also gone through a similar car accident. Originally I had gone to Kaiser and they didn't even bother to do x-rays but Dr. Marks did a full evaluation from head to toe and x-rays. What I really appreciated is that he took the time to explain the damages in detail and showed me the x-rays to better understand the damage and what it would take to recover. This really made me feel comfortable and allowed me to trust him enough to allow him to make adjustments without fear. I really like the fact that he takes genuine concern when it comes to what's going on with me and my progress. I also like that for exercise homework he has videos that show you exactly how they should be done. It makes recovery a lot easier. Where do I begin? My dad starting seeing Dr. Marks in 2007 and always came home incredibly happy with his care and his pain went away pretty rapidly. About 3 years ago I was beginning to experience a lot of pain in my upper back and neck. The pain was getting to the point where I was feeling incredibly uncomfortable and could barely sit in my desk all day at school (at the time I was in graduate school).

My dad suggested that I schedule an appointment to see Dr. Marks for chiropractic care. I set up an appointment with him and went in for my consultation. Setting up an appointment to see Dr. Marks was the easiest appointment I ever made! I called and was able to get an appointment for the same week! That was impressive!!

When I went in to see Dr. Marks I was incredibly nervous; I was not exactly sure what to expect! I had not been to the chiropractor in YEARS and was nervous that he would find something wrong with me! Well I went into his office, he did a brief consult with me, took some x-rays, adjusted my back, and away I went! That same day I began feeling 10 times better and my pain was starting to go away!

Within the next couple of days Dr. Marks called me as he had the films back from my x-rays. I went in to see him and he sat me down, explained what he saw (which was Scoliosis), and then worked with me on a treatment plan. That day I was nervous and scared because I wasn’t sure what to expect next. Dr. Marks told me that I would need to see him three times a week and that I needed to take different vitamins everyday while seeing him. Some of the vitamins he recommended were: Vitamin D, a Probiotic, Vitamin C, and a daily vitamin. Dr. Marks assured me that he was going to help me and that within a month I would notice a difference in my pain levels.

Now, let me take a step back… At the time of all of this I was in graduate school and was not working; there was no way I could afford seeing Dr. Marks THREE TIMES A WEEK! I shared this with Dr. Marks and he was able to work with me on the cost so that I could afford to see him three times a week and take care of my health! Which was AMAZING!! I have NEVER had a Dr. Work with me the way Dr. Marks did!

After about a month of seeing Dr. Marks three times a week and taking my vitamins I began to feel 100 times better! Every time I went into his office his receptionist was FANTASTIC! I always felt like I was going to a friend’s house. They always made me feel welcomed and right at home! The receptionist learned my name right away and always welcomed me with a warm “hello.” Every time I call all I have to say is “Hi it’s Ashley” and they know exactly who I am and the best part is that I am able to schedule a SAME DAY appointment.. When does that EVER happen at a doctor’s office

Dr. Marks is very professional, knowledgeable, and knows how to treat neck and spine injuries. I came in when I started getting severe migraines, and once I was on his treatment plan I experienced fewer and fewer migraines, and now I don't get even mild headaches! He adapts treatment to each individual's need and way the body is healing and responding to treatment and explains exactly what is going on and how he is going to fix it. Best Chiropractor in OC. I truly recommend Dr Marks. I'm sooo blessed to have him as my Chiropractor. I had a car accident few weeks ago. Got rear ended was having a lot of neck and back pain, Headaches. I didn't know what to do or where to go. Thank God I found him online. I don't know if I would be as satisfied and worry free as I am right now if I hadn't came to Dr. Barry Marks. I was referred to by a family member and was told he specialized in injuries caused by car accidents. I showed up with bruises whiplash a crooked pelvis and disk damage. I'd come various times a week and felt great every time. From the beginning I got advice for dealing with my accident  and getting for getting what I deserved for my injuries. It was so easy and coming here took out so much frustration that comes with getting in a car accident I was never alone either. He saved all my records  for me like x rays and recorded my improvement and also paperwork from the insurance because of Dr. Barry I was helped to get the maximum amount of settlement agreement possible from the person's who was at faults insurance. Dr. Marks is truly a miracle worker. The pain in my back is just unreal. I have scoliosis so back pain for me is inevitable but man does he make me feel good. I have a 2 year old and I'm only 21 years old. My back pain can really slow me down and sometimes I find I'm not able to keep up or play with my son. He has given me great tips and advice so I can control the pain along with alignments and electric therapy every time I come in. I never imagined I would be able to find relief but he finally gave me hope! Not only is he a great Dr. but he's very friendly and funny. I was rear-ended by another car in April 2016. Shortly afterwards, I began to have pain and spasms in my lower back. I was referred to Dr. Marks by a close friend of mine that swore he is the best chiropractor after going to a few. He took his time and did an assessment plus       x-rays' and came up with a customized plans for me which include treatment and exercises. Dr. Barry Marks is an Excellent chiropractor! He's very friendly and very patient. He took the time to explain where the the source of my pain was coming from and how to take care of it  without the use of medication, unlike the last couple doctors I've had, which to me was a plus. I went to see Dr. Barry Marks right after my car accident. He's a really patient and understanding man. Really nice. He helped in showing me what was wrong with my neck and back, overall the way he approached my pain really helped. He goes out of his way to provide you with emails with small exercises that could be done at home as well to help with the recovery. Best Chiropractor ever.  I met Dr. Marks,  taking a friend to her doctor appointments.  I had no back problems but I went ahead and had him just do a physical.  He told me I had scoliosis which I knew and that pretty much my spine and everything was in good condition but that I need an adjustment here and there.  Like most people after skiing or water sports or motorcycle riding or a roller coaster park I need to go in for a slight adjustment.  What I love most about  Dr. Marks is that he first warms you with heats pads, massages knots you may have and then he Adjusts you.  He also uses Lazer therapy & ice therapy.  The office staff is always friendly and very organized.  I have never had to wait long.  Highly Recommended!!  Best Regard, Becky Theis, Patient More...

Dr. Marks and his staff are amazing at what they do. They have helped me through a herniated disc, a tailbone injury, and a shoulder injury. I'm a huge fan of the work done in this office, and I really appreciate all they've done for me.After my herniated disc, I wasn't able to lift weights, bodyboard or surf, or even jog. I first started seeing Dr. Marks during my pregnancy with my son for Sciatic flare-ups! He helped me get through that pregnancy so much! ! After I had my son I was feeling great until we were in a car accident. He has been treating our concussions and nack&neck injuries and he has been a godsend! My wife and I have been going to Dr. Marks for many years now. This began as no other chiropractor was able to diagnose her back problems, which had gotten so bad that she couldn't sit for more than 5 minutes. She saw Dr. Marks 3 times a week and after less than a month she was totally fixed. She has seen him for several other injuries and each time been properly diagnosed and fixed.I started seeing him because of a volleyball injury to a finger, which turned out not be more than a sprain. I've continued seeing him for adjustments related to martial arts and high performance driving as well as age-related maintenance. Over the years I've had numerous problems and he's been very successful at diagnosing and treating them.
