Surprisingly good hotel. Has had some renovations in the sapphire restaurant on the top floor, lobby and hallways. The rooms have some older features (carpet, doors, locks) and are oddly shaped (triangular). So far haven't found a better Hilton brand hotel in Jefferson City. They are quick to fix any issues with the room (under 10 minutes). The building was built in the sixties, solid concrete and thick walls so there's no noise from other rooms. Great for parents with small children. There is a breakfast buffet in sapphire restaurant if there's enough people staying at the hotel. If not, you can order from the menu. Diamond members get $14 of items from the menu. Parking is pretty open around the hotel or in the indoor basement garage. More...

The individuals at the front desk were welcoming and helpful. The facilities are clean and provide many amenities. They made my work trip comfortable and easy. Stayed at this hotel for about 10 nights. Solid internet connection, excellent water pressure when showering, friendly staff, good housekeeping, nice rooms, soft bed and pillows, and ample parking. Love the underground parking.

Stayed here the night if the 28th of September. Upon arrival, most parking spots were taken, but managed to find one. Liz greeted me warmly and got me upgraded to a higher floor with a view of the State Capitol, besides that, the obligatory cookies came as well. The Doubletree is my go-to for visits to Missouri's state capitol. This time we had an entire trial team there for over a week. The staff was fantastic. We had a large conference room to meet and work, and the food and beverage staff were nothing short of terrific, patient and efficient in getting the team's dinner orders every night. And we loved the bar staff at Sapphires, were we capped off the evening most nights. The location couldn't be better - just down the street from the courthouse. And free parking! More...

Stay Report - 9/21 - 9/22||||||||Location: The hotel is located in downtown Jefferson City on Monroe Street two blocks south of High Street which is the main strip in downtown Jeff City. You can walk to the Amtrak station, state capitol and its related government buildings or to the restaurants and bars on High Street very easily as they're all within a half mile. There's also a gas station right next to the hotel along with a lot of free street parking.||||||||Hotel: The hotel was one of the 1960s circular Holiday Inns which were an idea that seemed good at the time but in retrospect, wasn't a very good one. The lobby has a coffee shop and some meeting space with the main restaurant being on the 14th floor having panoramic views of the city. That's where all meals are served as well as where the bar is. ||||||||Check In: I was thanked for being Diamond and given a bag with two bottles of water and a cookie. ||||||||Room: Small and cramped because of the design of the hotel. It's touch to fit two beds, a desk, a TV set up and a bathroom inside a tiny little wedge of a circle. On the whole everything worked well and I have to say the shower got really hot and the water pressure was incredible. Also Wifi worked fine and there were outlets next to the bed.||||||||Dining: The bar was well stocked with a lot of top shelf liquors including really good bourbons and scotches. Breakfast ran from 6-11 on Sunday and for Diamonds it was a full breakfast buffet which had scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon as well as cooked to order omelets and waffles. ||||||||I will say that I had very low expectations for this hotel but I ended up being extremely impressed. Every staff member I dealt with was incredibly kind and helpful and fun to talk to and I ate well, drank well and enjoyed a really good shower. I'd be back. More...

It is just in the Down Town of Jefferson City an in the near by of restaurant and bars so you could have a big selection. The restaurant in the hotel has a nice view at any time since you can see the city and the sun rise, at night you have a nice view . The people in the front desk is very helpful and all the areas where I was looks very clean and nice. House keeping is very good and even thought is on Down Town I have never have issues with the parking. More...
