In my opinion, Doozy Duds is the best laundromat in Boulder. Fair prices and great service. Nick is a wonderful owner, always a delight to talk with. He is constantly renovating the space to make it more inviting, and continues to keep it clean and tidy. I've tried a few other laundromats in Boulder, but nothing beats Doozy Duds. More...

I am loving the new management, Nick is a delight to talk to during my visits. Additionally, the place is cleaner and is being updated with more comfortable seating and facilities so I can more comfortably get things done while doing my laundry!

My laundry machine and washer has been broken since I moved into my home (in August) and doozy duds has been a fabulous place to get my laundry done! It's a little pricey but the fact that it is right on the hill makes up for it! Friendly staff, very helpful and gets the job done. I come once a week! More...

The Good:Doozy Duds is a family-owned business on the Hill that offers plenty of machines as well as excellent drop-off, wash-dry-fold laundry service. We drop our clothes off every week here and they do an awesome job, clothes return clean and perfectly folded. The facility is clean and conveniently located. The Bad:Like most places, they understandably charge more for comforters and heavy blankets, as well as other items such as rugs and dog beds. The Laundry:They do a great job, our laundry is always returned clean & folded nicely. The Service:Small family business with prompt service, and they are usually able to do same-day service. If dropping off, they weigh your laundry immediately (they recently raised their price from $1 to to $1.25 a pound), note the weight, have you write your name and # on a post-it note, and call you when it's ready. For two people washing laundry every week, it costs us between $20 and $30. Overall:I haven't used their self-service machines but I recommend Doozy Dud's for their affordable, fast, and well-done drop-off laundry service. More...

I agree wholeheartedly with Ariel J's review. I've used this place for the last three semesters here at CU. Great overall, reliable machines/people, closes late (11:30). I also have stayed past close there numerous times, and both owners (a middle-aged Asian couple) are more than welcome to keep it open an extra few to let you finish up. It has ~25 washers of differing sizes, ~20 dryers, two change machines, a soap/detergent dispenser, and an ATM. If a machine is out of order, it is only out of commission for a couple days. The owners have started replacing some of the machines this calendar year (2014). They got 6 new large washers in March, and IIRC the wife who owns it says that more were coming after the school year was up.25 cents for 7 minutes dry, and it's usually 2.25 to wash in the smaller dryers and more in the newer, nicer ones (because they have tons of extra settings that require another quarter.)Pretty clean + reliable for being a laundromat, and one in Boulder at that. Closes at 11:30 which is nice because a lot of the other laundromats close way earlier. The owner came in to close and I still had some stuff in the dryers and he did not push me out the door. I stayed about 15 minutes after close and felt bad but he was very nice and let me stay. Not the nicest looking place but convenient and they appreciate the visit. Even though I stayed late the guy was still super nice and I appreciate that kind of service.Although some of the washers and dryers are broken, they have signs on them so you dont use them and the ones that I used worked well and my clothes are dry!! I like the dryers because its 25 cents for 7 minutes I like this because you dont have to pay for an hour and wait forever for your clothes. You can just dry as much as possible and then take your clothes. I dried mine about 3/4 of the way and took them home and hung everything up that needed more time.Good location. Nice people. More...
