Donna is true professional on top of her game.
If you are ready to put in the work, Donna will get you the results.

she's amazing! She doesn't do a one size fits all type of training, but instead, really listens to your goals and your needs. I'm so glad I found her!!!!!

She always asks if I have any problems & will modify routine around them. Better results than from any other trainer. Now my husband also trains with Donna's husband Paul Harvey. I am in better shape at 71 than when I ran a marathon at age 34. More...

There is no one I would get up for - early in the morning and drive for one hour - other than Donna. Not only is she THE MOST MARVELOUS TRAINER, but such a truly knowledgeable professional. There is no health/exercise question that she has not answered for me and has always been willing to enhance my knowledge, in addition to my exercise. She eats, sleep and breathes a healthy lifestyle and pushes me to do more without putting me at risk of injuring myself. For that, I am so grateful, because Donna always is looking out for my best interest. She is an exercise guru and such a caring human being. I would recommend Donna to ANYONE because she understands people and what their body needs. She listens and caters to each individual and their goals. I can say all of this because I have now known her as a client and friend for quite some time. I also have seen the results of her other clients I have come to know and have seen their transformations. More...

I've known and trained with Donna for several years now. I can assure you, you won't meet a trainer more committed to your well-being and goals than Donna Milazzo.

She's a total pro and understands the ins and outs of kinesiology, nutrition and overall health. She'll push you far, but she'll never push you too far. She's tough as nails yet she's kind. When she's training you, she's totally focused on you and you alone.

She'll crack you up and you'll have a blast. Give her a call. You won't believe how your life will change for the better. This shot was taken of me on one of the many mud runs we've completed together.

Very experienced, attentive and focused on my individual needs for building muscle and bone. Plus she knows a lot about nutrition and its effect on physical strength and energy. Nice personality as well.

Donna Milazzo has been my body trainer in the last 5 years on a twice a week basis. My goal has been to maintain flexibility and to develop and save my strength.
I turned 80 years old last June and cannot imagine a better body trainer at my age. I have noticed that she also trains other older men and women. Donna seems to have developed a special sensitivity to the requirements of older clients. I so appreciate, for example, that she brings me a cup of water each time I have finished a series of exercises.
I suffer from chronic migraines and at those times, going to the Gymm is the last thing I feel like doing. But working with Donna is so rewarding that I force myself to go and to work along with her. She even volunteers special neck and head massages when I am in the midst of a severe migraine. And Donna is unusually smart and politically aware, which makes me enjoy our working together even more!
It gives me real pleasure to recommend her as an unusually gifted body trainer.

Donna is a true professional. Her knowledge and experience with strength training, muscle building, exercise, nutrition, and weight loss shines through 24/7- during our sessions and outside the gym. She is exactly who I was searching for, for my training and health/wellness education. She customizes every workout- no workout is the same. She keeps it challenging while gaging your physical limits to prevent injury. She maintains a relationship with her clients- available for questions and guidance outside of the gym. She’s a big time motivator. You feel amazing after each workout. Holds you accountable. Has a great personality- easy to connect with. She genuinely cares about her clients and checks on them throughout the process. Donna is the real deal. If you are motivated and ready to see results, she is the trainer for you. More...

I've been on a training regimen on a consistent basis for the last 35 years. Being an athlete, exercise and working out were always extremely important to me and became a major part of my lifestyle. Most of my knowledge was self-taught. I did a lot of reading and asking questions of other athletes, bodybuilders and gym owners. My dedication to diet and exercise enabled me to first compete on a professional level in baseball, and then for the last 25 years in slow-pitch softball.

Two years ago at a National Tournament I tore my LCL and had a fourth degree sprain of my ACL. My options were surgery, or a long road of rehab. I chose rehab and began physical therapy with an orthopedic technician. At this time, my wife Sandi was training with Donna. She mentioned to Donna that I was frustrated with my slow progress, and Donna said she had some ideas that might help.

That began my love/hate relationship with Donna, who I affectionately refer to as 'my stupid trainer.' Her main goal at the onset was to help me rehab my knee. Donna recognized that I was bored and discouraged with the pace set by the therapist. She introduced me to creative, fun, organized and challenging workouts which accelerated my healing. Once that was accomplished, she recognized that although I was quite strong and extremely athletic, I had never worked on flexibility and core training. She took care of this in a hurry. My workouts became more specialized. Donna introduced Pilates to my workouts, worked on stamina and continued to keep me challenged.

With Donna's help, I consider myself to be in top shape. I am successfully competing, not only with softball players of my own age, but with players half my age. Due to my newly enhanced level of physical fitness, I was also recently chosen to be a future contestant on the American Gladiators TV show. -- Jon Kramer

I have always been very athletic - swimming competitively and playing college softball. When I was active, my weight was under control. After having two kids and putting aside my activities to be a 'mom', the pounds started creeping up. Not only was I overweight, but I also started having back problems.

My chiropractor suggested a personal trainer. It would help me lose weight and strengthen my back and abdominal muscles. The trainer I chose was very inexperienced. Our sessions consisted mostly of talking. I was bored and uninterested, and certainly was not losing weight. During one of the last sessions with her, she had me do an exercise with way too much weight and I tore my rotator cuff and partially tore my biceps tendon.

I quit training and was thoroughly discouraged. Then my husband made me meet Donna. She assured me she could help, contacted my doctor to work out a safe exercise regime and worked with me on nutrition. She made me accountable for what went into my mouth by keeping a daily journal she checked twice weekly.

The best part of working out with Donna is that she makes the workouts fun! She is extremely creative, uses combinations of exercises, keeps everything fast paced, doesn't take 'no' or 'I'm tired' as an excuse, and is positive. I actually look forward to coming to our workouts.

I have lost almost 40 pounds, 12% bodyfat, and inches all around. But more important than my appearance, with Donna's help, I have completely rehabbed my shoulder, thus eliminating the need for surgery. My back is stronger than ever, and I feel healthy. -- Sandi Kramer

Donna is an amazing trainer! There’s nothing she can’t do. Sports training, strength and conditioning, injury rehab, you name it!

4 April 2020

I started training with Donna in August of 2007. She told me that if I was dedicated and willing to work hard, that I was guaranteed to see results.

Honestly, I wasn't a believer. I thought that I was already working hard on my own, but I wasn't seeing progress.

Here I am, 5 months later, and I can't believe the changes I see. I've lost bodyfat, lost weight (2 dress sizes) and gained lean muscle.

I'm in the best shape that I've been in in years. I feel stronger, healthier and have more energy.

Working out with Donna has been more than a training program from day one. With her knowledge and positive attitude, I've found that staying in shape isn't impossible if you're willing to put in the effort.

My workouts aren't easy, but when you see results, you stay motivated. I've done all the hard work that's gotten me to this point - but I wouldn't have been able to do it without Donna paving the way. -- Cherie Frost

I had a "good-enough" fitness plan on my own that seemed to work well for me until I entered menopause. Then I started having age related twinges in my hips and back and (horrors! ) I was seeing the beginnings of "middle-age" spread. My workout needed a makeover!

Under Donna's expert guidance, I have built muscle and developed improved balance. Those aches and pains in my joints have gone away, and I can still wear my size 4 pants!

With increased physical strength, I am developing a new self-image. The first time I picked up 70 pounds off the floor I felt like I was 10-feet tall. (Now my personal best is 115 pounds)

I don't hate my body anymore! Thank you, Donna! -- Cynthia Hart

Q&As

My typical process with a new customer normally encompasses a weigh-in, where I take bodypart measurements, bodyfat measurements and track their weight.

Additionally, I sit down and discuss their nutritional intake and how it can be modified to suit their goals. If necessary, I give nutritional plans as well.

Lastly, my workouts start with a slow buildup. I push my clients, but only to the degree that they are capable of being pushed. Normally the acclimatization period lasts a few weeks and my clients are up to speed and can do more challenging workouts.

I utilize any and all training methods to help my clients reach their goals including: weight training, stretching, sport specific training, core training, plyometrics, cardiovascular training, balance training, isometric work, kickboxing, sports conditioning, and powerlifting.

When you train with me you are my number one priority! My only focus is to get you where you want to go!

Paul and Donna both came to personal training from a lifelong love of sports and fitness. Our passion has become our desire to help others reach their goals. We constantly strive to give our clients the tools, guidance and push to achieve everything they desire.

Finding a good personal trainer is like finding a good mechanic - it's not easy, much like finding a needle in a haystack.

First - you want a personal trainer who is punctual and attentive. You are paying for the hour, you don't want a personal trainer who routinely shows up 10 minutes late. Additionally, you're not paying for someone to text message their friends or watch tv while you are working out. A good personal trainer is entirely focused on their client.

Second - the majority of personal trainers approach their clients from a single point of view. They have limited knowledge and experience and don't incorporate a variety of techniques into their training. You want a personal trainer who is going to tailor your workout for you. You are unique and you have specific goals. Your workout should be unique and specific as well.

Third - Nutrition. Many trainers think their job begins and ends with a workout. Not so. 50% of your results will depend upon what you do OUTSIDE the gym. You need a trainer who is an expert in designing nutritional plans and supplementation guidelines that will help you meet your specific goals.

Fourth - you want a PROFESSIONAL trainer. Too many trainers see training as a part time job while going to school or doing some other activity. You want a proven trainer whose sole focus is training. You want a highly experienced professional who has a proven track record of getting results from their clients.

Fifth - you need to find a personal trainer that cares about the work they do. Too many trainers fail to push their clients to a sufficient degree that they will experience results. This shows a lack of knowledge, as well as a lack of dedication to results. Many trainers give their clients easy workouts and are more comfortable making the workout a social session, rather than a focused session geared towards seeing results. Trainers who care, care enough to push their clients to the degree that they will be able to meet their goals.

Lastly - you want a trainer who pays attention to details. Your results will depend upon more than your work in the gym. They will depend upon your work outside the gym, your nutritional intake, your sleeping habits as well as the stress levels of your daily life. You need a trainer who is able to pinpoint the areas of your life that may be stopping you from seeing results, and consequently can help you find solutions that will help you achieve the results you desire.
