My friends ordered Tea and I ordered water so the waiter brings them drinks but not mine and I wait 20 minutes trying to get waiter attention to ask for my water again. Best Mexican food we have found since we moved here! It has been the closest to what we are used to having lived in a boarder town previously. Service was great and music was fun! I am new to the area. I ordered carnie asada for pickup. Three minutes to drive home and two minutes to serve and it was cold. The meat was so tough I couldn't cut it with a steak knife. Not a fan of the charro beans. I've had better food than this. Will not go there again. More...

What a disappointment! Haven't been here in awhile...Went this morning for Tex Mex breakfast. Arrived a few minutes after 10 am to join two other friends already outside on the patio. Restaurant was empty with only one other party seated at the back. Staff members were congregated at the end of the bar by the kitchen doors and watched me enter (no greeting or acknowledgement from them...) and proceed to the patio to join my friends. After a good 10 minutes with no service (my friends already have beverages and chips/salsa), I went inside to get help. Spoke to a staff member who struggled to understand I wanted iced tea. A different staff member finally came out and set down the tea and walked off while I was talking to her. We all had menu's and wanted to order breakfast. One of my friends went inside to tell them we wanted to order....nothing. Then, the other went in to tell them we want to order...nothing. After sitting on the patio for almost one hour, wanting to order....we got up and left. Too many other restaurants open for breakfast. Don Ramon's...if you are not open and not going to provide service to customers...please lock your doors and stop pretending to be open!! Will never go back!!! More...

This place feels like home! The dining room is cozy and warm; the servers are attentive and kind, and the prices are very reasonable. We love the margaritas and I often try different menu items each time. However, my husband is hooked on their wonderful tamales- he gets at least one each visit! We've never had a meal here that we didn't love, everything tastes fresh and scratch made. In this COVID era we are getting our food to-go, and no issues here either. The prices are half what you'd pay at some of the local Mexican chain restaurants- including the one across the street- but the food is just as good and service is even better! We love Don Ramons!
