Experience counts on your special day. You don't want a Spotify jock working off their phone with tons of songs they don't know how and when to play. I've been an MC, DJ, radio personality and music junkie for over 40 years. That trumps all these DJs who were trained and sent out by the bigger companies to do things only a certain way with their limited music libraries and knowledge.

Action was recommended to us by a friend and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. He met with us before hand and had everything ready and easy for us to pick songs for our wedding day. He was easy to get in touch with and didn’t mind some of my indecisiveness. My husband and I have a particular taste in music and he was able to not only play the songs we loved but songs that got everyone off their seats and on the dance floor. He was so kind to our families and made sure everyone had a good time. He was more than just the DJ of our wedding, he helped make sure everything went smooth and fun was had by all. Right from the start I had a really good feeling. He was prompt with returning my call and very professional. He was always available anytime I had questions and super flexible when it came to last minute add-ons. The song selection was awesome and made the reception so much fun. Don was amazing—and amazing does not do justice on how much he did for our wedding. He was very thorough during the planning process, providing documents that would allow us to think about all the wedding details. He also allowed us to share a Spotify playlist with him and he mixed all the songs we requested prior to the event (because I wanted to Latin music). During the wedding, he was very engaging and made everyone dance, including our more mature family members and friends. He made everyone laugh and enjoy their time at the wedding. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Years of experience in reading the room, and paying attention to what the crowd is responding to. Also it's important to know what they're NOT responding to, then going to the well and finding more things they'll probably like. Rinse and repeat for the rest of the night.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
My style on the mic is energetic yet conversational. I speak like a real person, not a stiff DJ-type saying "ladies & gentleman" before saying anything else. I have fun with the crowd. Musically, my style is playing what people want to hear... simple as that. Songs people like from years of experience. From old Motown and Classic Rock, to more modern Hip-Hop, Club and Dance Pop. Plus everything in-between.
What do you love most about your job?
Watching people have a great time shaking their booties. I have heard "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" a million times in my life, but it never gets old when somebody jumps up and gets out there to dance after hearing the first note.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've been DJ-ing parties side-by-side with my radio career all my adult life. It's always been my desire to play a part in people having a great time. Now that I'm doing radio less and less, I've decided to do what I love full time. Not a very hard decision to make.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because of my experience. I have never had a negative experience... EVER!! I know it's hard to believe, but it's because I listen to what my clients say they want. And inherently, through my years of doing this, I always know what comes next, and how the night should go.

I can do consultations remotely through Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Even Facetime. We can work things out remotely for your event before we do the fun stuff live and in-person.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
That is really the responsibility of the venue to provide the Covid guidelines for their establishment. I always make sure and follow them, sometimes above and beyond what they want. AND... I do wash my hands as often as possible. :)
Wedding MC & DJ Services
We offer MC & DJ Rececption services complete with free in-person one-on-one consultation (much better and more accurate than an app) ranging from $900 to $1100 depending on how many hours you need. This includes a premium EV sound system and award winning experienced DJ/MC/Personality. ---
Add $200-$300 more if you need mics and sound for the ceremony (based on what it entails and where it's located in conjunction to the ceremony.) If you need music for a cocktail hour in a separate room we can also work out a special package for you. --- Very very reasonable prices. Parties and Special Events
Any kind of event you can think of, from birthday parties to corporate holiday events, large or small, we've got you. We've probably already got the perfect playlist customized for the type of party you want, and we work very closely with you on the music, any special MC need for the event. ---

Dance Floor Lighting
We offer outstanding dance floor lights to truly get the party going.
$100 for one set from up to 75 people
$175 for two sets for up to 150 on the dance floor.
