Dominic's at Oyster Point

Perfect place for a family gathering. The food was good and the staff were great. We didn't use it. But there is also a bar for an additional fee if you want.

Great location for a party, reception, or whatever. I was here for a work event and the views added to the ambiance. For lunch we had several different pastas, salad and bread. Well done!!

Dominic's offers the Peninsula a wonderful service every Thursday at 4:15 pm... an AA meeting! There is free parking and a wonderful view of the Bay to enjoy while discussing the challenges of overcoming the addiction of alcohol.

I have been to oyster point yacht Club many times. Which is the review Angelica F placed.  I find it amusing that anyone could write such a negative review about Dayna. Dayna is by far the best bartender the yacht club could ever come across. I attended an event a few weeks back She's attentive shes fast and she's got a great work ethic. She is quick with drinks and moves the guests in a timely fashion and also goes above and beyond helping out with clearing tables of bar glasses in her free time. She kicks ass especially when she works venues ALONE with over 100 guests at times. She's super human and I would recommend Dayna for any event. Biggest thank yous to Roger and Charlie for making our dream wedding happen!As everyone knows, weddings are expensive. Once you say the word "wedding" in front of anything, the prices seem to jump ten fold. We were recommended Dominic's by a friend (whose daughter was also looking for wedding venues). I've also attended a retirement party at Dominic's back when it was the lovely yellow building at the top of the hill at Oyster Point.Boy, we were smart to come here first on our quest for a venue!It was very easy to schedule a meeting with Roger, manager of Dominic's. He was not only courteous and professional, but very accommodating, flexible, and collaborative. The whole process was clear and well organized - they have this down to a science, and it's how you know this isn't their first rodeo.We chose a package that included the room, chairs, linen, hor d'oeuvres and sit-down dinner, open bar for one hour, punch and lemonade, cake and cake service, and flower centerpieces. Most other venues only gave you the space when you book them, this was practically all-inclusive! On top of that, prices were very reasonable.On the day-of, Charlie was our ship master and made sure everything went on without a hitch. He and the staff were all courteous and our guests commented on how nice they were.And the FOOD! The one drawback is that you cannot taste test the food at Dominic's, since they are not a restaurant, but trust in their recommendations. We did and our guests said it was one of the best wedding meals they've ever had. (Get the prime rib. You'll thank me later.)Lastly, the space is excellent. The ceiling has stunning drapery, which was our favorite part. We had 100 guests and were able to fit enough tables, a sweetheart table for me and the groom, a DJ, photobooth and a dance floor. UPDATED REVIEW: I was contacted by the manager of Dominic's At Oyster Point regarding and explained that the rude waitress (or the bar/) I complained about is not managed by them. I'm  understanding enough to see situation and just hope that anyone who books ensures that all staff member will have great customer service. The food was good as far as I remember during the wedding. I guess that also depends on your budget for a wedding base on the packages you'd like to have. Food was good, servers were nice and polite, place was nice for a small wedding (100 or less). You don't want it too crowded. There were guards by the door to ensure no strangers or uninvited people come to the even which was nice. ----------REVIEW FOR THE BAR/Yacht Club -------If you're having your wedding venue here or any type of event that will have any use of their Bar, MAKE SURE TO AVOID HAVING "Dyna" or "Deanna" at the bar because she is the absolute worst bartender you will encounter at your wedding day. She was super rude to us today at the bar and had the nerve to talk loud to us at our table during the speeches of the wedding. The nerve!! Make sure she's not working the night of your event!! She has no customer service and she's very rude! She obviously hates her job and should not be working there especially during special.I noticed that her name was also mentioned at the previous reviews so make sure not to have her working that night if reserve this place for your event. This place does not look too special from the outside and is located in an industrial area of SSF. Don't be fooled!!! The inside is beautiful and very nicely lit with a lot of natural sunlight coming in. It looks over the water and dock for the fairy boat which is nice to see when your enjoying company and having a bite. This is only by rental and for events but is a well rounded space for events. It has a bar area and nice floor to dance if you want to have a wedding. There is also a beautiful deck which sets a nice mood on a clear Fall day if you enjoy fresh air. On top of that there is lovely trail to walk on right across the street that leads you along the water front and again adds for a nice ambiance. I did not book this place I just attended, but can say I would rent if I needed a nice event space! Hope this helps! More...
