Domenica and her team are INCREDIBLE! Working with someone who is reliable and down to earth is something that is very important to me and she is exactly that. She not only made me and my bridal party look beautiful, but FEEL beautiful. She is so talented at her job and makes you feel just so special on your wedding day. She listens to the style you are wanting and uses her expert opinion and experience to create a masterpiece. My mother was hesitant on getting her makeup done because she wanted to look like herself and Domenica took the time to speak with her and make my mom feel just as special as I did and she looked incredible! Recently Dominica and her team did my hair and makeup for an event industry gala. The results were amazing! My hair was modern, fresh and cool - a beach, unstructured side bun that looked incredible and stayed in place through many, many hours of dancing! Her team also did my makeup - and ditto. The makeup artist really knew her stuff and I looked just as good at 1 A.M. as I did at 5 pm! Bonus - my lashes were so dramatic! I can’t say enough good things. I was lucky enough to find Domenica when the original hair/makeup stylist I reached out to took forever to answer my inquiry. We did a phone consultation (I live in FL) and clicked right away. She did a trial for me about a year before our wedding then I changed everything up on her (my dress, my hair color and style). She didn't miss a beat! Domenica did hair extensions for me and matched the color perfectly using just a photo. She made me look and feel gorgeous! I was leery of airbrushed makeup because I had never done it before but it looked amazing. Domenica asked all the right questions, listened to my feedback, made incredible suggestions and in the end made us all look amazing. Oh, and I cannot forget Natalie who helped out with hair. All of the girls looked beautiful! Domenica and Natalie suggested we bring photos of styles we liked then put their own spin on them to ensure they would work with our different hair types. Having known Domenica and her family for years, I have personally been able to witness her passion for weddings, helping others, along with her creativity and gift for helping brides look their best continue to bloom. Not only is Domenica extremely intelligent and genuine in her work, but she is always willing to go out of her way to accommodate your style and preference w the colors and look you prefer for your special day. Domenica was given 7 weeks notice for my sisters wedding that was scheduled in mid July. Bc we are family friends, she went above and beyond to make my sister’s day the best it could be with her gift of make-up artistry along with coordinating the other events that were already pre planned prior w her great staff. I worked with Sam from Domenica's team for my bridal makeup and for my bridesmaids' makeup. She was an excellent makeup artist who was punctual, professional, and did amazing work. The booking process with Domenica was relatively easy, she is very responsive via text, and our only issue was with repeated misspellings of my email so that I was missing some correspondence (although she quickly remedied this when we talked over the phone). Domenica was so charismatic and personable from day one. She was quick to respond to my first inquiry and was pleasant over the telephone. You can tell immediately that she truly loves what she does and has a passion for making her brides and the bridal party feel comfortable and beautiful. Not only was she well-prepared with a variety of quality make-up (colors and textures), make-up tools and hair products but she was also well-organized and kept her workspace neat and tidy. She really cares about your life outside of wedding planning and she shares just enough about her life to make you feel comfortable. She prepared my bridal party and me just on time for our pictures and my makeup and hair was exactly the way I wanted it. She is open to suggestions and she also gives her suggestions without making you feel pressured. She is also very appropriate around moms and young kids. Ashley was Domenica’s partner that day and she did amazing make up that really enhanced the beauty of my bridal party. I had full confidence in Domenica’s work that day and I know you will not be disappointed by her work. My only constructive criticism for her is that the honeybook system she used was a little confusing and difficult to navigate through. There was one service that was missed but I think this is because it was a new system for Domenica and her assistant at first. I’m sure by now they have all the wrinkles nicely pressed and all figured out. Also it can take a few days or so for Domenica to respond by email and I think it’s just because she is very busy working with other brides and also at the salon she is at during the week. Domenica is AMAZING!! I could not have asked for a better team to trust with my hair and make up on my wedding day! They made my girls and I feel so beautiful with the air brush make up and their detailed hair styles they were able to do. I used Domenica this last weekend in Temecula and she was wonderful! I was supposed to get married in Napa, and was displaced by the fires, and received her referral, called her in a panic, and she went out of her way to fit me in, even though she was already very busy! Where do I start...Domenica was AMAZING!!! I felt so incredibly relaxed on my wedding day knowing Domenica was so organized and had a timeline for each of my girls to get their hair and makeup done and she stuck to it! Her and her partner worked very quickly and gave all of my girls great suggestions for makeup and hairstyles if they were unsure! Everything flowed so smoothly!! Where to begin with Domenica....AMAZING!!! I can not say enough positive and wonderful things about Domenica and Domenica Beauty. I could not have been any more pleased or chosen a better person to do the hair and makeup for my bridal party. She is not only incredibly professional but unbelievably talented, fun spirited, easy going and a sheer pleasure to be with. Her personality combined with her talent is an unbeatable combination. She truly made every person look their absolute very best; my grandmother commented that she has never looked better. She is incredibly skilled and talented and truly has a detailed eye. She made everyone look not only flawless but the quality of the products she uses are high end, not cheap store brands that will melt off an hour after your make-up is done. I can not thank Domenica enough for being a key figure in making my wedding perfect. Aside from just being awesome, she hung around until after our ceremony on her own time to do minor touch-ups for our photos. This was not a service that I asked for or even paid for, she did this just because. That is someone who truly cares about what she does and truly cares about making sure that every detail of your day is complete. From start to finish she made sure everyone was perfect.
Prior to my event, Domenica and I had an in person meeting to go over day of details and just to put my mind at ease. While at this meeting, another vendor arrived to bring some of our rentals which were unacceptable. Domenica went above and beyond and actually stepped in to a position that was not even hers and managed to calm me down as I was going from 0-60 in to hysterics. She has done so much work in the Temecula area that she has formed relationships with other wedding vendors and actually managed to spear head the situation. Talk about going above and beyond! If you are looking for a personable and professional team to get you ready for your big day, then Domenica Beauty is the right answer. I worked with Domenica herself and I could not have asked for a better experience. I was looking for someone to do the whole process from start to finish (including coloring my hair, starting six months before the wedding). We had our wedding in Temecula, CA and Domenica came to the venue with an assistant for no extra charge since she is a local vendor!! This was a huge bonus for me and my girls as I did not want to have to travel on my wedding day. She also does airbrush makeup! Big bonus for brides that are going to be outside or have very oily skin (I checked both those boxes and looked just as good by the time the wedding was over). Shelby did an amazing job for the entire wedding party and Mother of the bride (me!) my daughter has a lot of hair but wanted to wear it down. Shelby styled it perfectly and it held up quite well all night long. My hair was difficult to work with, but the style she gave me also was lovely and looked great all night long. I needed a professional makeup artist for my daughter who was modeling a wedding dress for a bridal show at South Coast Winery in Temecula. It was all a bit last minute for me to put together, but Domenica came through like champ! Super professional, very friendly and the hair & makeup were fantastic! Domenica was wonderful to work with! She made me feel gorgeous on my wedding day! We had the Domenica Beauty team do all of the bridesmaids' hair and makeup as well and they all felt beautiful. They were finished with all the girls' treatments early (before the photographers/videographers arrived) which helped us stay on schedule on such a busy day. She also provided me with a "touch-up kit" to keep my makeup looking fresh during pictures and the ceremony. I don't wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis & was a little bit nervous getting airbrush makeup done. However, Domenica did a wonderful job making me feel beautiful by simply "enhancing" my features instead of loading on too much eyeshadow.
