Jenny has been great! We did a handling class that didn't really seem to help with our dog being cautious around strangers but Jenny really helped when we found a second dog and our first dog started getting aggressive

I highly recommend this facility for anything dog (fun, obedience, behavior, etc..)!! The staff are courteous, knowledgeable, and have a real willingness to help you and your dog (or dogs). One of my dogs is very fearful and timid, they have helped her tremendously. The little puppy that once hid under the bed and would shake, now comes to give you a sniff and once would not play with toys now takes her toy to her bed. She would get so stressed out she would puke. We go weeks without puking now. It's absolutely remarkable what they have done for her and I. We love Dogsmartz!!!!Awesome Place!! I can't say enough good things about our training with Jenny. We've had a class of 6 dogs mostly around 6 months of age. Our trainer Stacey always does a great job teaching us how to train our dog. You can tell she really cares about the dogs and has a passion for teaching people the right way to train their dogs. No cruel types of training here like choke collars or electric collars or anything like that. We like this place because it puts emphasis on teaching your dog through positive motivation to develop a stronger bond with your dog that makes him/her enjoy learning and makes it more enjoyable for the owners as well. We have tried over a half dozen different trainers for our reactive German Shepherd Max. Numerous trainers we interviewed felt the "best" answer was a shock collar. I'm so glad we finally found Dogsmartz. Heather has been so patient and kind with Max. She is very knowledgeable and helpful, answering our multitude of questions. I can't say enough positive things about Jenny. She will help any dog in anyway she can. She goes above and beyond to accommodate schedules and NEVER gives up on a dog even when others have. Best place to take your dog for training. I have taken my dog to 2 classes so far. Level 1 and Level 2: Fearful/ Shy Class. it has been truly amazing to see my dog come out of her shell and have such a personality and has gained so much confidence. We're 1/2 way into beginner obedience with our Siberian Husky, Maxine. The insight & helpful hints have been invaluable to help US better understand how to communicate to Maxini Bobini (that's her pet name) what we are wanting for her to do ~ or NOT wanting her to do. My best description is that this class helps bring me further away from some of the old school philosophies/tendencies regarding animal training that I grew up learning in the 80's. This is truly the best place to bring your dog for training. I have been in multiple classes now with my pup Lolli. We have seen a great transformation not only in her but in all the dogs in our classes. The trainers really care and go the extra mile to make sure you and your dog leave feeling confident in what you have learned. We recently enrolled our dog Oliver, in the Obedience 1 class. I was so excited for class 1 unfortunately tho Oliver was over stimulated and dog reactive (a slight shock to me). I was so discouraged leaving because of his behavior during class and super stressed out (although it doesn't take much for me). BUT Linda our instructor called me at home to give me encouragement and some great tips for the next class. She made me feel more at ease after our conversation and less anxious for the next class. At the 2nd class we saw a improvement with him with some simple tips and on our 3rd class Jenny came to work with us, and by the end of class (in my eyes) he was like a different dog! Such an improvement I was so proud of him! I can't say enough wonderful things about Dogsmartz Unleashed and their staff! The care, patience, and understanding they have for these dogs and their humans is tremendous! We haven't even finished our 6 week course yet and we are looking for another course to enroll him in! Jenny and her team are amazing. Everyone there is so kind, caring, and they really know their stuff. My dog came in fearful, reactive, and anxious near people and after 2 courses of "Fearful & Shy Dog Class" he is a completely different dog. Now we can take him so many places in public and he is completely calm and willingly goes up to strangers.
