Dogs gone mild truly care about you and your dog. As someone who has a reactive dog they have been invaluable providing tips and suggestions to build my dog’s quality of life. My dog was different after the first day of training and continued to improve through the 1:1 sessions. Booked 6 sessions with them for my 8 month old rescue. I was impressed with the knowledge they shared, the training methodology incorporating rewards, praise was very helpful. We have been able to correct pulling on leash and lunging/barking at passers-by. We added commands sit, lay, stay, leave it, heel and come. We had our Pup there for a 5 week obidience training. He came back so well behaved, and although he is still young and likes to play, handling him is so much easier now while continuing the training daily at home. It's a game changer. Logan brought our puppy home a week ago from a 3 week board/train. She was a crazy jumper and we couldn't get her jumping under control. It got to the point that we were worried about our elderly mother was going to get seriously injured. We were expecting her to come home and tackle us since she was gone for so long. But to our surprise she greeted us with a very polite sit and a wagging tail. She also was not house broken and so far we only had a couple of accidents even hitting her bell to let us know she needed to go out. We had no idea how much such a young puppy could learn. We were on the hunt for a dog trainer for our shepherd puppy and ran across Dog’s Gone Mild, We decided to get on a phone call with them and quickly realized this was the one! Logan the lead dog trainer / owner is not only responsive and professional but so knowledgeable in what he does, The first time when they come to our house so quickly was able to demonstrate for us what our dog needed training in, Which was super on point. We saw a big change in our dog behavior with only one in home lesson of positive reinforcement & That made us decide so quickly to continue with their 3 weeks board & training program. What do you love most about your job?
I have loved working with animals for my entire life and get the most enjoyment of helping dogs become better family members
What inspired you to start your own business?
After working for multiple dog training and zoo training facilities I felt i would do better on my own combining the world of exotic animal training techniques with dog training techniques.
Why should our clients choose you?
I focus on their goals and we get started training right away. We make progress in the very firat lesson.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am vaccinated and will be respectful to every houses wishes wearing masks etc.
In home Dog training lesson
My dog training lessons are $140 each or $300 for 3 lessons. I allow people to decide how much help they feel they need/ want but on average most do 2-5 lessons to get to their goal. I come to your home during the lesson working with you and your dog in the environment that it is comfortable in. Each lesson is an hour long with the exception of the first lesson which ends up being around 30min longer in order to get the puppy on the right track.
Board/train program
2,3, and 5 week intensive dog training program focused on obedience, manners, and behavior modification, and housebreaking (if needed). All in a private home environment.
