This place is amazing! I cannot say enough amazing things about Nick, he was amazing with my little asshole of a dog named Bill Murray. I thought there was no hope for Bill, he hates all other furry creatures that walk this earth. He literally tries to attack every dog he sees, walking him is impossible. Bill Murray also likes to take spiteful pees and poos in our house when we leave him alone, RUDE. We have tried so many other techniques that were advised to us and nothing worked. I had to tell Bill on a daily basis that he's lucky he's cute....After taking him to DTE, we now can take Bill Murray on walks without the worry of seeing other dogs/cats/squirrels/bunnies, its phenomenal. I no longer have the underlying panic of "oh shit there's another dog." He also does his personal business outside and ONLY outside! Our house smells so much better. Omg.....I'm in tears because I thought my dog would never get along with other dogs or stop barking! What can I say about Dog Training Elite SW Las Vegas . ....Nick is the freaking atomic bomb! My pitbull, Damian, was a nightmare on the leash, aggressive towards other dogs and barked at a fart in the wind. It got to the point that our neighbors would see us coming and turn and go the other way. We couldn't take him anywhere. Now it's totally different. After training with Nick, we frequently take Damian out to eat, on walks downtown main street, and to Home Depot. When I stop walking, he sits next to me. We get compliments from people on his good behavior every time. Our friends and neighbors are amazed at the progress our dog has made. Even though we are leaving where Nick left off, he has set a much needed foundation. I definitely would recommend Nick at Dog Training Elite SW Las Vegas over and over. More...

The staff is thorough and patient. Rocket, my I'll tempered Pomeranian usually starts his visit to a new place by finding the nicest piece of furniture to mark. He likes to follow that feat up with biting or barking at the first new face in the room. The staff at Elite Southwest calmly observed his naughty behavior during assessment and quickly came up with a training plan. Rocket started as a flunky in the course but now easily has a passing grade! I don't feel that he has to be in his puppy stroller everywhere we go. He is getting more exercise and now I feel comfortable out and about. Great service! More...

Obedience dog training
Dog Training Elite will help building a lasting bond between your dog and your family. We put a strong emphasis on teaching your dog the highest level of obedience, despite even the toughest level of distractions, both in-home and in group classes for a more advanced approach. We believe in using ongoing praise to encourage good behavior and use positive dog training based on the classical conditioning theory, paired with an e-collar used to obtain the dog's attention.
Our obedience training covers commands such as:

Heel (walk with you, no more pulling)

Service Dog Training
Dog Training Elite offers a variety of service dog training packages, all of which are highly personalized to the individual seeking assitance with their mental or physical disability. We specilize in training Psychiatric/PTSD service dogs who assist their handlers in times of high anxiety and stress, providing emotional support, reintegration into society, help reduce depression, the frequency and severity of flashbacks, anchor handler to the present, or reduce suicidal ideation.
Puppy Obedience Training
Our puppy training program consists of two phases: early training and advanced training.
Puppies as young as 8 weeks can begin learning with Dog Training Elite's Puppy Prep package. Our process allows us to efficiently complete puppy training at your home or within the environment where behaviors manifest - such as in the park or around other dogs in the neighborhood.
Once your puppy reaches 14-16 weeks, the early training transitions into a more advanced obedience training using e-collar. The in-home training sessions are followed by group classes to socialize your puppy and expose it to higher level of distractions.
We have developed a highly successful and unique positive puppy training program empowering dog owners to get involved and learn how to train to ensure their dog knows who to obey at all times, in all situations or environments.
