This place is awesome! I love the first time client discount of $20 off for a grooming session and then they have a follow up for 10 dollars off the next time you schedule again. And they have everything all in one place here as far as dog services (training, boarding , day care) nestled away safely in a business Park area with gates and it's very clean! Convenient location off of Oceanside Blvd right by the best veterinarian ever, temple heights animal hospital! So getting records over there is no issue. They have really friendly staff here and you can tell they really care about the well being of your dog and take proper precautions for intermingling the animals such as verifying shot records and they have a free evaluation appt where you bring your dog in to see if they will be a fit for day care before just dropping them off and winging it. We have started taking our 7 month old Shepard, Sammy, to day care once a week at Dog Dayz. The facility is spotless and the staff is very friendly, warm and welcoming. Sammy comes home happy and tired! We’ve never used dog day care before, and after visiting several other facilities in the area, this is our number one choice. It is spacious, clean, and provides large indoor areas and covered outdoor space for the dogs to continue to play together even on rainy days. There are many large and small dogs already there playing happily when we drop her off in the morning. The staff has been super patient and responsive with all of our (many!) questions. I have been taking my fur baby Toby here since he was less than a year old. He is now going on 8 and he still gets excited to go on his daycare days. Dog Dayz is his home away from home, I always know he will come home in a good mood and if I have to leave him for overnight stays, one night or several he always comes home well-adjusted and happy. Started working with Christine in February of this year with my puppy Coco and honestly couldn't be anymore happier with the outcome. Christine helped my family and I understand the positive way of training our pet without the headaches. She showed us a lot of different games that we could play with our puppy but at the same time train her. Also, helped us with ways to deal with her fear of people, and other dogs, and noises. It's safe to say that our puppy started off this training process with a lot of fears and in the end of the private training she was super confident and now enjoys playing with other dogs in trails and parks, something that we never thought she would enjoy! This was the best experience and will continue to use Christine any chance we get. I am signing up for her recall class as I type to insure that we keep getting all the knowledge we can to grow our connection with our puppy. Thanks again Christine, you rock! More...

We wouldn't even consider taking our dog anywhere else. The facilities are spotlessly clean, staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. The dogs are monitored carefully at day care and/or boarding to provide a safe environment, to prevent over exhaustion and to look for any sign of illness. Of course they have daycare during the weekdays, but it's also available on Saturday, a convenience not usually found at other similar businesses. Even better, they offer Sunday pick-up from kenneling, who doesn't want to see their dog right away after being out of town?. Not only do we board our dog often there, but we've also undertaken training there. Always taught from a kind and positive perspective, there are several classes for varying skill and experience levels. Take a class with Pat or Christine, your dog will love the challenge, The board-and-train option with Christine is a great choice for a more intensive, one-on-one experience. it will dramatically improve your dog's behavior, and in the long run, strengthen your owner/pet bond!
