River, my Yellow Lab, absolutely loves when he gets to come to day care here. He runs straight to the door always anxious to play. Harriet and Natalie have a wonderful way with dogs and people. Clean, reasonably priced, and convenient. Both of my babies seemed to be well taken care of. They are exhausted and have found a new place to hang out when I have to travel. Highly recommended!

I work here, and I can say with confidence that your dogs are well taken care of here. I see some comments that suggest we can not keep up with the dogs, and this is just untrue. We also have just changed locations to a nicer and newer building. The owner Harriet is extremely cautious, and I would much rather bring my dogs here than a daycare where they spend half the day in a kennel all alone. More...

The only place to take your babies where they'll be cared for to the max. They go above and beyond to ensure your dog is happy and safe. We started going to Dog Days when Lynn first opened it. 12 years later, we still attend Dog Days, 10 years after Harriet took over. Max is now almost 14, and he still gets excited when we get close to his "second home". Lacy and Pepper have passed on, now Mini is the new student. The babies attend day care and sleep overs. They always seem to look forward to going. We are so thankful Harriet and her crew are there. Happy 12th anniversary!!! Here's to many more! More...

On the corner of Kingston Pike and Campbell Station Road, there is a big old house that sits on the corner.  Behind that house is where you will find Dog Days Canine Playschool, painted in vibrant pinks and oranges. When you walk in, prepare your ears for the little dog barks :)My dog loves this place she practically leaps out of my car and runs for the front door.  If you are looking for a place to take your pup to daycare, then this is the place.Harriet, the owner is always there and very nice.  You can tell she really loves animals.  They have 2 separate areas:  One for big dogs, the other for small dogs.If you take your dog here, a few prices for you:                          5 hours or less = $14                          5+ hours = $21If you bring 2 dogs, it is half off for the second dog.EX.  Two dogs staying for 4 hours = $21You can drop your pup off as early as 6:30 AM, and at night pick up as late as 9:30PM.  They also board dogs, groom dogs, and sell homemade dog treats.  If you want to try this place out then call and make an appointment for them to evaluate your pup.  This place is so worth it!!  I never took my dog back to PetSafe when I found this place.  These people really care about your animals.  Have you vet fax your pups records to this place.Check the out! hi we just love dog days canine playschool- our dog goes to daycare everyday while we are at work.. he has so much fun. he has been going for 3 years. he has made a lot of friends. he plays all day and is dog tired at night. good thing for us.. he has spent the night and done a sleepover.. he sleeps in a big room with blankets and toys... no kennel or crate for him... his girlfriend was spending the night one night, a cute little lab. they got along so well. both of us parents decided it would be ok for them to stay in the same room.. dog days let them have a slumber party together. we thought that was great....the groomer also shaved our dog down and did a really nice job....he gets shaved once in the summer... he looked adorable.. staff is great. alicia the manager has been their 4 yrs and has 2 dogs of her own.. my dog loves her. sometimes he doesnt want to go home... try it -your dog will love it.. its not a big fancy franchise, just a nice homey place... the big places are very clinical and we dont think the dogs get much time with staff, here they are with them all day.... some places in knoxvile say all day daycare but they lock them up half the time. at dog days they are running free from 7:30 am to 6pm. it is a godsend for us.. thanks dog days.. and charlie thanks you too....... Dog Days is a great place to take your pet, friendly caring staff and a cute home-like atmosphere. Our 2 babies go twice a week on tues and thurs. They love it. We also use them for Boarding. Great cage free and our dogs stay in a room together. They also have a groomer there and our babies get the occasional bath. they offer in home pet sitting too but we havent tried that yet.. thumbs up! More...

my gosh, we had tried many kennels in knoxville and felt guilty our dog was locked in a run, but we found dog days because of a co-worker, and now we know our dog is playing all day long from 730am -6pm, out in the building with all the dogs. . then they are fed and put in their own little areas.. our dog got to sleep in the office... it was like sleeping in a room at home and not a kennel......he has soooo much fun, he doesnt want to come home.... he loves the staff and the pup-cicles!!!!
