I had a virtual consult with Virginia a while back. I hated the layout of my furniture and decoration and was so unhappy with everything in my house that I was thinking about just selling it and buying a new house. .. anyway, I don't feel the same way anymore. I had a few ideas of what I could do but with Virginia's expert eye and suggestions I'm so happy and feel so much more comfortable in my own home. Little things like how high to hang the curtains, paint colors to brighten up the space, where to place certain pieces of furniture/the TV. On my current listing, she suggested moving a few pieces that the homeowner already owned to a different room and made the room feel fresh and inviting. I am a real estate agent and have been looking for someone new to use for staging my listings when need be since my other stager moved. I had a home that has been listed for a while and it was a beautiful home but just was not selling. I suggested to my seller that we look into staging and contacted DoStage. I was approached by sellers who had only lived in their home for 6 months before they decided to sell. Their home sale was still a comp in the MLS! What was a Realtor to do? Virginia and her company were very professional when they evaluated the home and area(s) to be staged. I had renovated a home with my brother so that he and my mother could live together. When my mother changed her mind we had to sell and quick. The Do-Stage quote was reasonable and we accepted all the suggested staging areas.

The best part was the home was sold in less than 14 days all due to the DO-Stage touch! I would recommend and/or use them again in a minute.

Virginia staged my 4BDRM home for sale. She did an excellent job. I think she has a very good understanding of how to make a house appealing to the largest number of potential buyers. I already had lots of furniture and accessories but Virginia arranged it all extremely well. She added a few accent pieces (fake plants towels, bowls) and the cost was very reasonable. She cleared out the unnecessary furniture to my garage or storage. The only issue I had was that some items that I used everyday were put in unusual places (I found the TV remote under the kitchen sink). Virginia Youngblood is a joy to work with, and the Do-Stage process turned out to be a great way to get my project completed. I asked her to redesign the upstairs of my home so that the whole family could have a more enjoyable time in the kids bedrooms. Some furniture got moved, but mostly the redesign required shopping for accessories and placement of decorative items like lamps and wall art. The reason this project was successful is because Virginia respected my desire for the children to not be playing and sleeping in a retail display. We made the most of what was already in the house before buying new things, and she connected decorative items that I didn't see before as having similar qualities. She made the most of my $750 budget by checking in frequently while she was shopping, always purchasing things I approved of. I felt great about the time and money spent making the kids rooms more thoughtful. They are really enjoying their "new" rooms, and so am I ! More...
