DJ Vosters - NYC Wedding and Corporate Event DJ

Mike was absolutely phenomenal at our wedding. I would give him 6 stars if I could! If you’re looking for a DJ who really cares about your tastes and the feeling that you’re trying to go for, you’ve found him. He was extremely attentive to our music tastes and the styles we preferred from very early on in the process. He didn’t just ask for our “do not play list” but actually went above and beyond to really lock down our preferences. We felt really confident in choosing him because he seemed to really care about making sure the music was the best it could possibly be on our wedding day.Then when the day arrived he absolutely CRUSHED IT! He played to the crowd perfectly and had all of our wedding guests dancing all night long. He was able to play a perfect mix of oldies, hip hop, and EDM, transitioning flawlessly between songs and really hyping the crowd up as the night went on. We had an absolute blast.Our wedding may not have been the most lavish or over the top, but it was definitely the most fun! Ever been to a wedding where the music was just awful? I hate to admit that I've been to more than one. Good music was one of our wedding must haves and we scoured the ends of the internet and were lucky to come across DJ Mike Vosters. We listened to his sample sets and knew he was the one. He is THE BEST! He absolutely killed it at our wedding!! Mike took all of our music preference feedback (do not play, must play, like this, love that, etc...) then he worked his magic and had. every. body. dancing. He knew when to play to the crowd and incorporated music that had our parents' friends, our foreign guests, all of our guests up on the dance floor shaking their butts. He knew when to ramp up and switch genres to make the night LIT. Several of our friends reached out to us afterwards asking for the DJ's playlist. We ended up giving him a playlist of songs that we love and trusted him to run with it. And he did it so successfully! Mike was great! We hired him for a college orientation boat cruise party around New York City and he kept the party going the whole time. Mike was also so pleasant and thorough to work with through the entire process. He was even happy to call our boat company when he was looking to know the heights of the ceilings. Vosters crushed it at our June 2019 wedding. SLAYED. I mean literally blew it out of the water, and exceeded our (admittedly high) expectations. Every single song, transition, clip, all of it, was just exactly perfect in every moment.We asked for a mix of current top 40, throwbacks, R&B, 90s, and unexpected songs across genres. Vosters had such an awesome way of incorporating all of that which kept the dance floor lit the entire night. We have never seen some of our friend and family dance the way they did!Friends and parents' friends alike were gushing, saying they were obsessed. I can’t count the number of guests who were professing LOVE for the DJ, where did we find him! , best DJ they've ever heard, and so on. Interpersonally, Mike was professional but also so much fun. He took the time to really invest in our experience -- to understand what feeling we wanted, what songs and genres we loved, to curate a set list that "got" us. We exchanged emails and calls to make sure we had the bridal party names correctly pronounced, just the right cut-off points for first dances, and so forth. NYC launch party!Mike DJ'd our company launch in NYC and was the absolute perfect person for the job. He is so professional, talented at his craft, fun, and just really good energy. He worked with us pre-event to get our expectations and make sure he set the vibe we were wanting with the music. (which he hit spot on!) Mike is the perfect DJ if you want to have a great time. He DJ'ed our wedding and made it feel like a great dance party. We received so many compliments on how good the music was. He listened and delivered on what we wanted, but was also great at reading the crowd. He knows how to create a great vibe and just a talented DJ. Not just my wedding, but his sets are awesome. He isn't cheesy and great at mixing old and new. The last thing we was another wedding that played the same generic things and nobody really had a good time on the dance floor. Luckily, bc of Vosters we got the exact opposite. I highly recommend him to anyone who can get him if he's available at all. He's very courteous and professional but laid back. Mike DJ-ed our wedding, and couldn't have done a better job. I've literally never been to a wedding where the dance floor was so packed for the entire night. It was incredible.He was also extremely professional and easy to work with throughout the entire process. We met in person several times and he asked lots of great questions that showed he really wanted to make the event perfect for us.
