My name is Lloyd Crawford otherwise known as DJ Tony D.
I’ve been djaying for over 40 years in numerous capacities such as Weddings, Special Events, Private Functions, and Clubs. In my twenties, I hit the club scene and was in heavy rotation for clubs such as Underground, The Tunnel, Bentleys, Pulse, Level 10, Marquee, Palladium, Silver Shadow, Demerara, Bond 6, Q Club, Village Hut and Various others.

What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
It is very important to listen to your crowd and to try and make a connection with them. Understand the music they like and make music selections that can fuel a good time.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I am a music mixologist. I like to blend songs and take vocals and beats from one and blend them into another while carefully keeping the crowd jumping and wanting more.
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people and making them have a GREAT time. There is nothing like a good list of songs to bring everyone together.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started Djayin when I was young. Had a crew of 4/5 guys and use to get on the mic and rhyme. But I always wanted to play the music. My father was a big music person. He introduced me to so many classics and I've grown to appreciate great songs.

I believe I can deliver exactly what a client wants and I know with my many years of experience, Djaying and connecting with a crowd comes as second nature.
