Great cocktails, played bags and ping pong out back

The music here has never disappointed me. That's the main reason I come here. I prefer to be outside when possible. There's lights strung up, heater lamps, and a ping pong table. You can rent the paddles and balls with your license as collateral.

The video game machines are annoyingly bright and gaudy. They take away from the atmosphere that the music adds to. The lighting is a little dark, and the times that the disco ball has been spinning, I don't think a light shines on it, so maybe it's just supposed to be there?

As for the food, enough friends of mine have ordered the pizza slices to only have it cold in the middle. I wouldn't order anything that needs heated up. More...

Comfy bar. They have a nice beer selection and decent prices. You'll most definitely find a beer you like. On tap they have a varied selection and none of their beers tasted old. I'm guessing they clean their tap lines fairly regularly. They have Monellos pizza! Make sure they cook it all the way through though. Just ask em to cook it crispy or warm it up again if it's cool. Very nice place, community pub atmosphere. My biggest annoyance is that they go through bartenders too often.

Best bar in town!

Might have just been the Saturday I went but it was nerd central. Drinks and bartender were great though so I would recommend this place if you are ever in downtown Urbana.

Great music (live, DJ or ambient), extensive range of beverages, nice atmosphere, good vibes, The Beatles-(ish) theme (I mean - "Blackbird", ya know? ) Cool beer garden with ping pong table (weather permitting) - what more can ya ask for? More...
