DJ Rodney was amazing at our wedding! It could have been a huge disaster with the rain and having to move under a tent, but he handled it like a pro and kept everyone on the dance floor. Everyone there had nothing but compliments about both his handling of the rain and his music choice. DJ Rodney! What can I say? We LOVED him! We reached out to Rodney pretty early on in the wedding planning process. Came highly recommended by our planner. He was the first and only DJ we reached out too. He was so great the first time he talked to us. We talked though emails, and on the phone. Quite often though out the planning process. He took time to get to know the both of us, our personalities. Our wedding group was a little older and smaller. But he kept people on the dance floor the whole time. He played music we love! Rodney was awesome! We met with him twice prior to the wedding to nail down our plans. He was prompt to respond, organized, and very reliable. So reasonably priced, yet he did so much- like providing a mic for the officiant and reader. He did just a great job and made the reception so much fun. You can really tell in his voice and professionalism that he used to be a radio DJ. He worked so well with our coordinator to keep things flowing and follow the schedule for the day. Rodney is incredible. Choosing your vendors for your wedding can be so daunting but having Rodney was our easiest and best decision we made! We got married in September 2019 and our family members are still talking about how great he was! Rodney is so detail oriented and was always one step ahead of us when it came to communicating with our other vendors. We had some sudden last minute changes and Rodney didn't skip a beat on making sure our day still went smooth. He even coordinated with my father for a special surprise after our ceremony. I had this fear that no one would dance but he kept everyone (even my 92 year old grandmother!) on the dance floor all night long! When we booked Rodney a few months before our wedding I instantly knew he was the right choice, and I am so thankful we found him! He was extremely helpful along the way, coordinating phone calls and he was always available over text and email. That was super important since we moved down to South Carolina during the wedding planning process and I knew I could always reach him! On the big day he went above and beyond our expectations, including keeping a secret dance under wraps until it happened, and our guests were constantly complimenting him throughout the night. DJ Rodney Lee was our DJ for our wedding this past Sunday and he did a fabulous job! He's a one man show but he exceeded expections and even helped out with other aspects in addition to music. We hired him on a year before our actual wedding because we were so impressed from our first meeting with him on how organized he was. He came prepared with a timeline sheet, music genre/song questions, and suggestions of additional ideas we could include in our timeline that we would have never thought of ourselves. He was one of the only vendors that was proactive and followed up with us throughout the year so I didn't even have to reach out first every time. He truly was excited to be part of the big day and to provide any assistance needed. The day of, he delivered exactly what was promised; was punctual, had all the right equipment, worked well with the coordinator to make sure timeline ran smoothly, made sure we had just enough time to eat before moving on to the next thing, and had the crowd dancing when it was time to dance. What do you love most about your job?
Making the bride and groom smile and have a great time! Having guests come up at the end of the night saying how wonderful everything was. Getting recommendations, referrals, or praise from satisfied couples means the world!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Being able to provide a service, within budgets, but not lowering professionalism. I’ve worked with high tier professionals, I know what’s needed, how to pay attention to detail, and be the best DJ for your budget!

Wedding DJ
I act as Master of Ceremonies at all of my weddings. Anybody can play music, but it's the ability to be a great Master of Ceremonies that separates the good wedding professionals from the amateurs. Knowing when to talk and when not to, along with a professional sound on the microphone is the most important part of my profession.
Through planning paperwork, face to face meetings or phone meetings all of the reception will be planned out according to the bride and grooms’ vision.
