We decided to get a DJ for a bday/halloween party last minute and were fortunate to find DJ Psyched(Mary) due to last minute cancelation on her end. Having recently served as the planner of my 40-year high school reunion, I received a suggestion that we consider Mary Neal to be our DJ for the evening.
I decided to make her my choice to provide music for the gathering. In advance of our event, I sent Mary a list of artists and songs that I knew would resonate with our class.
As the reunion organizer, I admit it was a bit nerve-wracking for me when Mary first began "to do her DJ thing.” Would she follow my suggestions? Would we alumni like her style? Would the set list satisfy my classmates?
I am so pleased to report that Mary’s song-choices and interspersed banter were perfect and were enjoyed by all. For four hours, she delivered great tunes and kept us on our feet as we listened, danced, and swayed to her music selections.
I am pleased to suggest that you strongly consider Mary Neal to be your choice as deejay for your next event. Highly recommended.

Mary was wonderful to work with from start to finish. She was responsive to my initial inquiry and helped guide me on ideas.
She arrived in advance to set up and was prepared for when our party started. The music selection for our 80s themed party was perfect and the lights added a fun "wow" factor to our party. DJ Psyched was incredible to work with and I would 100% recommend her to anyone who is looking for a DJ to work their parties.
She provided the entertainment for my parent's birthday event at a hotel venue. She was in consistent communication with me leading up to the event, providing me choices on music genres, lighting set-ups and working with the hotel event staff for logistics.
On the day of the event, Mary was set up well ahead of time and ready to go as soon as the party began. She blended together an amazing mix of modern/oldies/dance music that kept the party going all night, she could definitely read the room and make wise choices to set the vibe for the party guests.
Again, I would give my full recommendation to anyone throwing a party to book DJ Psyched as your DJ. She'll make sure your guests have an amazing time!

I have been to several DJ Psyched parties over the years. No matter the occasion or event DJ spends hours getting the playlist perfect and exactly how the host want to entertain their guests. She is fun, energetic, and very professional The twinkle lights on her accessories make it that much more fun. DJ Psyched was amazing. She hit just the right note with the music and really added to the energy and ambiance of our event space. It was a professional/charity event, where we wanted people to mingle, enjoy, do some hands-on activities, and learn about our organization. She brought all of her own equipment and we were able to use her sound system/mic for our presentations. Her music had everyone energized and in a good mood (and ready/inspired to donate!). The music was always at the right level, so it complemented the event and never made it difficult for people to have conversations around the room. I've worked with many DJs throughout the years but I will never have to worry about looking for another one. Psyched used my song requests and built her entire set around them.
She knows how to use music to build up the crowd....the energy she has brought to my events has been amazing (and if your event requires lights, her light show is beyond professional).
If you want one less thing to worry about when planning your event, you've found your DJ. Highly recommend.

What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
It's all about the vibe you create with the music and lighting. Depending on the event, I love to play songs that are familiar with a fresh twist. Also, since everyone likes a little something different, I might rotate "mini-sets" of Pop, House, Remixes, Country, Latin and Hip Hop.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I am very professional and although traditional in many ways, my music tastes are diverse and range from the 60's to current releases. I love to have a good time and do my best to make that happen at every event!
What do you love most about your job?
I love music, and I love to see people enjoying themselves. When I see a crowd come together on the dance floor, singing along, or even tapping their feet, I feel a strong sense of connection and lots of joy!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started listening to music when I was 10 years old and knew every word to every song. I was always the unofficial DJ at parties and chose songs to fit the crowd. I had always joked about becoming a "real" DJ, and then I finally took the plunge! I've had so much fun with it and love to have a sense of purpose as I listen to new song releases or hear creative remixes of old favorites.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have a very wide range of music knowledge and am always open to specific requests or themes. As a psychologist, I can read people well and use this to my benefit as a DJ. I am also very reliable and professional, so people can always count on me to be prompt and provide the requested service. I have invested a lot of time and effort to learn about lighting and I provide a high quality lighting experience for evening events (fog too!)

Music is carefully chosen for each event to fit with the the venue and the crowd. Lighting is choreographed to the sound of the music and various fog effects are also available.
