Not only is DJ Maxx professional, responsive and well organized, he is one of the kindest and most genuine people I've ever met. Â He has the best professional MC voices I've ever heard. Â Hiring him for our wedding was the smartest the decision I made. Â Other than giving him a requested song list, I trusted him completely on playing the right songs at the right time (and at the right volume) throughout the night. Â Everyone danced till the very end. Â An added bonus - Maxx is also an amazing salsa teacher and dancer. DJ Maxx is my favorite DJ! I am a photographer and he is who I always recommend to everyone! We've done many, many events together and it doesn't matter if it's a Wedding, Baptism, 65th Birthday, Graduation Party, or Sweet 16 (his specialty by the way), DJ Maxx is always able to get everyone on the dance floor! It doesn't matter what age group or what nationality the crowd is, DJ Maxx is able to work his magic!One event in particular we did together that really impressed me was a Filipino party a few months ago. I am Filipino, but DJ Maxx is not. However, DJ Maxx knew exactly every Filipino song to play from all sorts of line dancing to ballroom songs that you would expect at a Filipino party!When it comes to Sweet 16s (and we've done a lot together), DJ Maxx knows all the songs the kids like to hear. As a photographer, he really makes my job much easier because everyone is always smiling and having a great time which makes for great candid pictures.The one bad thing about having DJ Maxx as your DJ is that if you hire him, guests will not want to go home. They are seriously nonstop dancing and just having too much fun!If you have an event and DJ Maxx happens to be available on your date, hire him right away because he gets booked A LOT! What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
It's simple. I take customized playlists and live requests at all my events.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Considering the customized playlists that I accept my DJ Style is spontaneous. Every one of my events are unique and it keeps me on my toes. I don't rely on a "fall back" playlist.
What do you love most about your job?
Creating relationships with clients and making friends forever with them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Before DJ'ing I began as a Salsa Dance Instructor. I had tons of great music and people would tell me you should become a DJ! I ventured into Latin Music DJ'ing and eventually became an Event Professional for all events.
Why should our clients choose you?
I meet with all of my clients in person with no financial obligation. I help plan their reception from Entrance until the Last Dance. If they don't like my presentation, experience or website they can hire a different vendor. No offense taken! LOL
