Hiring Mark to DJ my birthday party was definitely the best thing I did for that party. His communication was absolutely great, he worked with my requests and responded right away. When arriving at the venue, he quickly set up and it was looking great! He was extremely respectful, and read the crowd perfectly. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
The secret to a successful event is proper preparation. A good party needs a good plan. I tailor my approach to the crowd, the setting, and your goals. For most parties it works well to build up a gentle vibe and let the guests acclimate to the setting. Once the crowd feels comfortable on the dance floor, I’ll bring in a touch of variation, to keep it interesting for all. When everybody is really getting the hang of it, I’ll drop those banging tunes that will get the crowd screaming and going crazy! In the end, people want to let loose and sing along and feel free to go crazy on the dance floor. I specialize in creating that mood. And remember; get the ladies on the dance floor first, and the gentlemen are sure to follow shortly.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
My specialty is to serve the happy spirits in either corporate events or high-end weddings with a delicious cocktail of jazz, funk, soul, and R&B as a starter followed by a magnificent eclectic mix of the best rock, disco, dance & EDM you’ve ever heard. All this is tailored to the unique client needs and capabilities. When desired, I add a touch of R&B, pop, country, Indie, electro, or Latin to the mix to spice up the dance floor. All in a skillful beat-synced mix. By the end, everyone will have a smile. You will love it!
What do you love most about your job?
My passion is to create the ultimate vibe. The feeling that people have after my show. It goes way further than just the passion for music and the love to make people happy. It’s about following up on my destination to contribute to making the world a little better with creating love and energy in people's lives.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Make a living doing what you love to do. And contributing to making others happy. And making money at the same time. Who wouldn’t want to be a DJ?
