DJ Ken Cheezie was absolutely great! Dallas did not have the best of weathers this weekend but that did not stop him from making the drive to make our Wedding a success. Ken made contact with me to make sure the Wedding was still on early in the morning. He was setup and ready to start on time and he got everyone on the dance floor. I would definitely recommend him. He has a great selection of music from line-dancing, oldies, pop, tejano, merengue, country to cumbias and even danzon. I called, he answered; I texted, he answered; I emailed, he replied; I asked if we could meet, he said yes. Ken was very flexible and made me feel at ease. He made sure I knew that everything was going to turn out great.

Theses DJ's were playing the bands that most online sites didn't even know about.  They also play the best of what you use to listen to including the B-sides you might not have even known about. I started listening to live365 in 2003.  My favorite DJ was GroovyJim.  He's a local DJ back in the early 90's.  He is still going strong to this day.  He has the inside track on the best bands I've heard in years.  I've asked him what his secret is and he's not talkin!  But he's not the only one that I've discovered.  I have been a member for all of these years and I still find the stations that attract me, and others!So it's very similar to Pandora, but more interactive.  Just type in a band you love and search.  Instead of having to listen through a bunch of bands that are mildly similar but not quite your cup o tea you browse the radio stations to see what they've recently played, playlists are sometimes available & occasionally those stations will recommend others that might interest you more.Bird-fed?  LOL...no.  It is all about personal preference & deciding for yourself.  And it's obviously all about others knowing more than you but are willing to share that knowledge with the masses, should you decide to listen. Currently I'm locked in a converted windowless supply closet crunching numbers.  But for this internet radio service, live365. com, I'd be sucking on an exhaust pipe.Los Angeles corporate radio east of the public stations bites with its limited playlists of the famously non-talented.  Better I have the opportunity to listen to a mixtape of live rock acts compiled in Taipei or classic tango from Tel Aviv.There are almost 300 genres to choose from.  Some  stations are love-sick teen-ager hideous, and some, if not professionally produced, sound so.As of this writing the government has instituted a policy to jack uproyalty rates paid by internet broadcasters, a protectionist stunt, I'm sure, to protect Clear Channels' fixed stick broadcasting franchise.Call me nuts.  But listen to this better alternative in broadcasting More...
