What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Researching and learning the music themes for each client and event then combining that with my own passion for music. This creates the opportunity to select music throughout any event that can keep the atmosphere at the right energy level.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I'm an 80's kid who grew up listening to so many various genres of music because of my family and the era of music television that surrounded me. I love to blend music that may not typically go together while finding creative ways to make it work. Plus this helps out for multi-generational events so that everyone feels included.
What do you love most about your job?
Performing to crowds with music selections that make people move or excited about what they are hearing or being introduced to is the pinnacle.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I began DJing for rag tag mobile DJ service in the 90's where I learned so much about what not to do. That inspired me to create my own service that aligned with my values as a performing DJ. I want my clients to feel heard and understood and I want each event to get what it needs not what I think it should have.
