What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Keeping people dancing. Taking special requests. Incorporate songs for every age group. Understand when to stop a song the crowd isn’t into. Knowing how to read your crowd. Taking the time to create a playlist specifically for the event you are DJing.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
My background is old school. Mainly 70s, 80s, 90s RnB. It’s my favorite to DJ. I also am very familiar with any decade of Hip Hop and RnB. Time to time I spin 80s, 90s, and 2000s pop, country, and rock hits.
That mainly depends on my audience. I am extremely diverse.
I’m also venturing into House music!
What do you love most about your job?
Creating memorable moments for people. Helping a persons birthday, wedding, or whatever event a success. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching people enjoy a sound that you’re creating.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I grew up listening to a lot of diverse music. My parents would play music they grew up listening to and I learned to respect music at an early age. I really love all RnB and Soul music.
Why should our clients choose you?
I can play music for any age group. I can start old and come up to the new, or, start new and hit you with some old school. I’m great at reading the crowd and knowing my audience. My goal is to touch your soul with music.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am completely vaccinated and boosted with proof. I also do not mind wearing a mask at any event. Whatever makes my clients feel safe.
