DJ Dekontee was so great for our Homecoming dance! He really read the room and played great music keeping the dancing going all night. I would definitely recommend! :)

We don't have enough good things to say about Dekontee. We were gifted his services through a friend and he reached out to us months ahead of time to coordinate his services.

We were pretty clear about what we wanted and he sent over songs he thought would fit our vibe to make sure it was what we wanted.

A fun dance party with a great DJ was REALLY important to our son and his fiancé who just got married last week. I had no idea where/how to even start that search, and BARK popped up as an option. So I entered my request, got several responses, read reviews, talked to Dekontee on the phone--and knew we had found our DJ. And we are so glad we chose him!!!

He was understanding, funny, and very communicative from the beginning. He talked to our engaged kids on the phone a few different times and had a questionnaire he gave them to learn their preferences and provide suggestions, which helped us all think things through as far as the schedule and music and emcee-ing, etc, that we wouldn't have on our own.

Also, the bride had the idea to have her and our son each do a voice-over "thank you tribute" during a section of the father-daughter and mother-son dances, which was a total surprise to us parents and was so sweet. And Dekontee was great about making that happen.

Also, our newlyweds loved his music choices and perfect transitions between songs and just-the-right-amount of crowd engagement to keep the energy going without being a distraction from the wedding celebration.

Dekontee was also very good about using family-friendly songs and clean versions, to accommodate our wishes for a fun but wholesome dance in a church building.

His light set-up created a fun vibe during the dance party, but the music and lights were at a lower, perfect level for the eating/visiting/program portions, as well.

Everyone had a great time dancing, from grandparents to young children to the the bride and groom and their friends having a blast!!

We also really appreciated that Dekontee understood our budget for our DIY reception, and he worked with us to have it make sense.

Our newlyweds (and their parents ; ) were so pleased with everything!! We would highly recommend Dekontee for your event. And if we ever need a DJ again, we will be calling Dekontee!! More...

WOW , where do we start with how much Dekontee impressed us during our wedding. Easy to communicate with when going over details and songs we liked. We booked him to our wedding in 2019. Our Dj’s will charge the amount and affordable for 6 hours of music. We used a mic, speaker, announcement and playing music appropriate for wedding especially the Liberian Grand March. Also including a lighting package. It's a very smooth equipment setting.
