Only have great things to say about DJ Dan ~ he was the DJ for our wedding on May 11th of this year and he was phenomenal to work with! From the first phone call we had with him, Dan was professional, kind and informative. Throughout the entire process of planning he was helpful in any way he could be and was very flexible. The day of our wedding he arrived early to set up, and he made the whole day flow so smoothly! Dan was super kind and many guests have mentioned how they enjoyed chatting with him and have complimented him and his talent. Though we had a smaller group dancing, he kept the energy alive and made great song choices that kept the crowd going! Dan also brought his photo booth with him and it was a huge hit as our guests had a great time taking photos together! DJ Dan is a fabulous DJ - we highly recommend him. He was very responsive as we set up all the details prior. He arrived early to set up. Was very reasonably priced. He has lots of great equipment options, including photo booths, which we weren't going to have, but people had fun using, and we have some fun photos for memories. Dan was hands down one of the best DJs' we could ask for. He was very organized with all of initial contact and had a event run through layout for us which he was more than happy to accommodate any changes or unique additions we wanted to add. All the music flowed together, wasn't a playlist on shuffle but truly weaved in our music to transition so well that the music never stopped. The light and sound system was epic and honestly what tied the night together was the Photo-booth he brought which allowed our guests to leave with physical mementos from our event. As a Queer couple, we also felt like Dan was very inclusive and never made us feel uncomfortable or out of place throughout the process. Know if we could rate better we would!! Absolutely out of this world amazing!!! We hired DJ Dan for our wedding this past September and not only was he incredible his staff was absolutely amazing as well! He was extremely professional, played the best music, he had amazing communication, and was such a phenomenal person to work with! Hands down you will not be disappointed. My fiancé and I interviewed a few different DJs for our wedding, but once we met Dj Dan the search was over. He not only is extremely professional, and good at what he does, but he offers a variety of awesome additional entertainment at little or no cost - ask about the photo booth! We hired DJ Dan for our wedding this September. Everyone had a great time dancing. DJ Dan had an awesome photo booth setup. He even found a background for the printouts that was specific to our theme. The music was fun, he MCed the events so well. I threw the bouquet and both my shoes and he put up w that. I would highly recommend Dan. He was extremely professional as well as personable. Not to mention easy to work with. He was able to read his audience and change the music as needed for the age grp. DJ Dan just did my spring wedding earlier this month and he was absolutely FANTASTIC! He is super organized, incredible with communication, and his energy is FUN. He nailed it all! Hands down best DJ ever! I can't say nicer things about him. Answered all my questions during the pre-party process. Played all the music I requested. Kept the party going and the crowd involved for my 30th Birthday Party. Photo booth was a blast and he custom designed my background to exactly what I wanted. Hire this guy! You won't regret it. I'm pretty sure this is my first ever yelp review, but I felt he was outstanding and deserved to have a 5 star review! hired Dj Dan for my wedding in South lake Tahoe. He did a great job at the ceremony and reception I'm very satisfied with his service. Even tho there was thunder storm and rain in the beginning of the reception he kept the wedding party going. My wife and I were unsure of whether we wanted to have a DJ at our wedding. After meeting with Dan our worries were put to rest. Dan was AMAZING!! He made great suggestions for improving our celebration and worked with us as the big day approached to get everything in order. On the day of, he was able to roll with any changes in our itinerary and spent plenty of time checking in with us throughout the day to make sure things were going well. He also did a great job of adjusting the music to the mood and preferences of the guests as the night went on.

Hired DJ Dan for my wedding in Reno NV 8/19/16

He was AMAZING....totally professional and had such a great personality. He listened to all our requests and kept us informed every step of the way. Our reception ran so smoothly and we owe everything to Daniel. Our group had some very hard to pronounce names and he nailed every single one of them perfectly.

My wedding coordinator ended up leaving the wedding after the ceremony and left the reception in our hands. We had no word that no one would be there to help with the schedule. DJ Danutica(my dj for the night) ended up stepping up and helped my mom with hosting the rest of the wedding, when it wasn't in his job description. Not only did he do that but the music he played was awesome, he kept everyone up and dancing, and the equipment he brought really made the night. We used his up lighting and it completely transformed the room, we also used his dancing lights and it brought a fun vibe to the dance floor; it also looked really good in pictures. Dj Dan also included a photo booth, which myself, the groom and our guests had an absolute blast with. He dressed very professional for the occasion. I just have to say this DJ is INCREDIBLE! Daniel did an incredible job at reading the room and getting everyone up and moving. I can honestly say my wedding was made up of 80 people that aren't the dancing type, but he had a good group of people up and having fun! I unfortunately had forgotten to give Daniel an itinerary, but he still managed to make things flow like nothing were wrong! He is incredibly responsive and helpful during the planning process, handles last minute stuff well, and great with his mixture of music! The only music list I gave him was our ceremony music (special requests of instrumentals, which he found and were on point!) and the first dance and parent dance songs, and with only this had a perfect variety of what our families enjoyed and were able to have fun with! He has a wonderful array of equipment to choose from to turn your special day into a party! Myself and my husband are not fans of "club vibe", which had me a tad worried about getting the right dj, however Daniel obviously wears many hats and can create whatever atmosphere you're looking for at your reception! And he has a free photo booth with his DJ service! Very easy to use and such a blast to have! Would strongly suggest him to everyone I know! More...

DJ Dan's Utica Services was simply amazing. I originally called him up and hired him to run a photo booth for my daughters wedding. I didn't know about his DJ services until asking around for a photo booth. Danny was recommended by word of mouth. Which says a lot in itself.  He was super helpful with his services available and very attentive to my requests.  Then our DJ that was originally had booked backed out of the wedding a week before the wedding! So I asked Danny if he happen to be available to DJ the wedding as well. He was so helpful and understanding of our need. He made himself personally available to DJ our wedding.  The wedding kicked off without a hitch. The photo booth was so appropriate and entertaining for our guests and everyone hit the dance floor.  It was the best event ever.
