Matthew's Nationwide Moving is hands down the best movers I have ever had! I have moved quite a few times in my life. The past 2 times Alex and Cravin have moved me and it has been a perfect experience both times. On Saturday, Alex, Cravin and Tyrone showed up on time and worked tirelessly to get our boxes into storage. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to get everything into the truck and then out at the storage unit. Like the title says, this is my second time using Thumbtack for my business. My first business use was in 2015 as a personal trainer. Then, you would purchase credits in advance. I had great success and met clients I would never have been able to reach otherwise. Now in 2019 I am operating as an independent handyman. I am not sure if the structure has changed, or it is based on your particular service, but now you set a budget and lead cost may vary based on potential revenue. Nonetheless, it has been one week and I immediately landed two jobs, making way more than the cost of the leads!Caution: Read through the tutorials and fine tune your clients, areas, and services. In this manner you avoid spending your budget on long shots and zone in on your target client base. In the end it is a client lead service, of course there is a charge. The nice thing is you get to manage how and when from your desk at home.Just like any job interview, you have to sell yourself to land that gig! Get a few under your belt and the referrals start and you will need less of this service. My budget is tight right now, so I started with $25 and kept reading and watching tutorials, and refining my preferences. I hired All Pro Flooring & Renovation Specialists to totally gut and renovate my kitchen and bathroom. They took the time to sit down with me and designed a bathroom and kitchen according to my vision. They installed brand new cabinets, quartz countertops, built an island with state of the art equipment and Wi-Fi with outlets and chargers for cell phones, I-Pads and laptops. They tiled my floors with porcelain tiles with borders. They installed a state of the art bathroom with a sauna and benches in the shower with waterfall-like faucets with hand touch sensors. They did a gorgeous job on installing rift and quartered oak in a herringbone pattern with walnut borders throughout my entire first floor.They were not the least expensive out of the three companies I met with, but they guaranteed their work and gave me exactly what I wanted in a timely fashion. I was referred to Kenny Vargas of Pura Vida Pool and Spa Professionals because our spa was not working. We have had the spa for14 years and this was the 1st time we were having an issue. Kenny spent a lot of time diagnosing the problem. He worked really hard and it was really hot but he was a cool as a cucumber. He replaced the necessary parts and the spa works great! Larry calls quickly to set up appointments, shows up at scheduled time, spends as much time as needed to get the job done and charges fair, honest prices for his work. This past year had a horrible experience with a certain contractor and I was afraid, but thank God Adam was a professional and experienced in the work he did in my home. Tylor, from Wild Hawk Landscaping did a fantastic job putting down new sod after we killed our original lawn by over watering. I tried a $99 duct cleaner who was in and out in 45 minutes. Ken Woodbbridge spent 2.5 hours here and cleaned each vent thoroughly. He pulled 10 years of dead skin cells and dust that was missed with the "coupon" cleaners. When he finished Ken showed us the furnace to ensure the entire system was thoroughly cleaned.
