DJ Ameet Productions and Event Lighting

I didn’t realize it while planning our recent wedding reception, but the MOST important element of your reception begins as you enter your venue and continues until the last guest leaves… and that is your DJ! After thinking back about all the emotions, elements, guests, décor, etc. that were a part of our special evening, the main component that stands out above all else was our DJ. And one of the best decisions I made was to hire DJ Ameet and his staff.

DJ Ameet was so much more than just a cute DJ who showed up and played music. I was familiar with him as a DJ at several Bollywood Night events in the Atlanta area, so I knew he was a good DJ, I liked his enthusiasm and taste in music, and he was always very kind in playing my requests with a smile. But what I didn’t really consider was all the additional efforts involved with him being a DJ for our reception. It was so much more than him playing songs! Working with both him and Smiran was a very smooth process. From being flexible in determining a package that fit in our budget to convincing us that their uplighting would really add a lot of visual appeal, to Ameet being our “wedding planner” consultant and helping us patiently plan the timeline and elements to include in our party, to spending hours on the phone with us (reviewing song choices, determining the appropriate blend of American/Indian songs throughout the evening, and getting to know us better) to finally being our DJ and MC during the event! DJ Ameet handled all those efforts with integrity, style, humor and his endless energy. Smiran was very responsive with emails, contract updates, etc. behind the scenes.

We had a very non-traditional reception, with different elements we wanted to incorporate and a very mixed crowd. DJ Ameet didn’t blink an eye or miss a beat with the planning and he offered suggestions but did not pressure us. He was very gracious and handled his first time DJing our unique reception with ease. He ensured that we were happy throughout the entire event and kept in constant communication. I really appreciated him going above and beyond to integrate personal elements throughout the evening and for being so interactive with our guests… he even got both young and old out on the dance floor waving glow sticks and making moves I didn’t even know they could do.

Guests attending your wedding reception will expect the bride to look gorgeous, the decorations to be beautiful, the food to be delicious, and the cake to taste heavenly. All of these come together to create your special, delightful reception ambiance... but, they won’t ENTERTAIN your guests! And everyone enjoys good music and an enthusiastic MC to lighten things up, and to ensure that everyone is having a good time! This ENTERTAINMENT is really what you and your guests will remember the longest after the party is over. I have lost count how many friends have contacted us specifically about DJ Ameet and how wonderful he was, how the music was a lot of fun, what a great time they had on the dance floor, etc.

Coincidentally met with this awesome DJ in an event and later turned out "The DJ" for our party too. A guy who has entertained the Kids and the Adults altogether in the Birthday Party in the synergistic way.

Five stars are just not enough to rate our exceptional experience with DJ Ameet and his team. Ameet was much more than just a DJ/MC for our event. We hired DJ Ameet through our wedding planner, and we could not have been more happy. Ameet provided DJ, MC, Sound, Up Lighting, Dance Lighting and Dhol Player services. There are a lot of DJ’s out there is Atlanta and some charge a whole lot more than Ameet but I have not seen them being half as interactive on the microphone and involving the crowd like him, while DJing at the same time. We had very unique venue's on Friday and Saturday. Friday was at the Mason Fine Arts, but Ameet still made it beautiful with white up lighting, Summerour, a historic building, the beautiful candlelight up lighting, and the string lighting, were very elegant. The bride had very selective music requests and Ameet and his team made sure to play her songs, and not play from her no play list, and also read the crowd. 100% A+ for Ameet and his team. DJ Ameet brings an energetic and creative presence that makes any event fun and memorable. He knows his music and is very passionate about it! The energy from this guy is incredible! In last 2 years i have attended many parties and events where DJ Ameet was playing and i can confidently say those were the best time i ever had.
