Distasio's has, in my humble opinion, some of the best Italian food I've ever eaten. Great food and very affordable prices make this my favorite restaurant in our area. Proof that you don't have to pay LA prices to get excellent food. More...

Awesome View. This is a family run restaurant with a great view. Also a good place to take the whole family. Wheelchair accessible with a big handicapped bathroom and good for the kids. Food is good and not over priced. Nice casual place. Also don't forget to check out the wine bar next door! If the restaurant is crowded you can order food from the wine bar ( but no kids allowed in there). More...

Delizioso. DiStasio's did have a restaurant in Los Osos until they closed and combined with Morro Bay around July of this year. I do miss it in my town, but the drive to Morro Bay is worth it! Infact it is worth the drive from anywhere to come and try the dishes offered at DiStasio's On The Bay. Within the last month my brother and I dined there and I had the "Marco's Summer Chicken" aptly named after Owner/Chef Mark MacMillan. Everything about this restaurant is wonderful. The ambiance, the view, the staff and ultimately the food. Hey! Don't take my word for it. Go and try it for yourself. More...

Awesome!!. We've been eating at the Los Osos restaurant for many years and love it. When it closed recently we were disappointed, however, after dining at the Morro Bay location, we are no longer disappointed. It's a bit further for us to drive (about an hour each way) but it is soooo worth it. The food, views and decor are all better than at the Los Osos location. We took my Dad for his 80th Birthday and all of our meals were fantastic! Everything was so delicious, the only problem was it was so filling I couldn't eat it all and brought it home to enjoy the next day (which really isn't a problem ;o) I can't praise this restaurant enough. We love it!! More...

This is one of the finer restaurants in Morro Bay. The view is spectacular and the food is superior. Recently open (from existing Los Osos and MB locations combined), this freshly decorated new site is very appealing. With seafood, pasta and steak choices, making decisions on what to eat somewhat difficult! It is all delicious. Do take in this restaurant as part of your visit to the Embarcadero in Morro Bay. You will not be disappointed. It is a family owned and run business, so they are interested in making your dining experience just as personal. If you are a ""Local"", make it a place to visit often and bring your friends and family. More...

Food was average and the ambiance was a bit lacking. Overall it was just OK.

I'm not of Italian heritage, but I would guess that the food here is like good homemade Italian food. My manicotti came hot and fresh to our table.
