Disney Cruise lines is magical, fun, relaxing and just the best of them all. Everyone that works on the ship is wonderful with Excellent Customer Services without a doubt. The only line my fiancée and I travel on. You always hear Disney is for kids, but Disney Cruise Line really knows how to cater to the child-free cruiser. Right now, there are two categories of ships, the magic class, and the dream class. The Magic had a sister named the Wonder, and the Dream and her sister the Fantasy. The Dream and Fantasy are the larger of the four ships currently in the fleet (the Wish will be the largest when she launches in 2022). The magic/wonder are such cute ships. They are actually my favorite due to the smaller size (that means less people's, shorter lines, etc). The downfall to the smaller ships is a smaller adult outdoor pool/lounging area. I do like the themes bars much better on the smaller ships, however. The fantasy/dream have great amenities that the smaller ships can have, such as the raft water slide the aquaduck. You can ride this as a single or double as an adult.  They also have a larger outdoor water area for adults only. The have a small upper deck with loungers and a wave pool, in addition to the adult pool with bar and hot tubs.  While the larger ships have more adult bars, some are very tiny, and during peak times you probably won't be able to get in the door. Service has been comparable on both ships. The fantasy/dream have additional shopping areas with large retailers such as bvulgari and Tiffany & Co. Overall, I'd go on any ship of Disney's anywhere if it means a vacation. Even if you're child free, I recommend it! More...

Oh, my pixie dust and magic lamps where do I begin. Let me start with day 1 arriving on the ship. From the moment we parked our car the magic began. We arrived to have a very lovely luggage team handle all our luggage. From unloading our car to seeing it safely onto the ship. Check-in was a little daunting as when I arrived the line seemed awful long however it went really quickly. The cast member was quick, friendly and efficient. She answered all our questions and was super fun to talk with. Because we chose to arrive later in the day we did not have to wait to board the ship we were able to go from check in to boarding in under 20 minutes. Boarding the ship is a fun experience not only do you walk into a beautiful setting but being announced like royalty is very magical. Once onboard the magic only increases from top-notch service in the restaurants we are talking 5-course meals to fun activities aboard. I personally loved the trivia and cooking seminars. Not only is there a multitude of activities from movies, to broadway, shows even sports but the food. Let just say you will never go hungry they have fine-dining, quick service meals oh and did I happen to mention unlimited free ice cream. Then there are the islands along the way from Nassau to Castaway Cay Disney private island where you can fish, scuba dive or just sit back and relax as you watch the waves roll by. Disney Dream is a dream it brings the high quality you expect with the Disney name along with the Disney magic you have come to love. More...

We had a great time on our Disney Magic cruise (one way NY to Puerto Rico)Tips: -I recommend the 2nd seating for dinner, unless your kids are really young. The first sitting is quite early, so we were never hungry following our large lunch. Also those from the 2nd seating get a later time slot for bfast on the final day, so you don't need to wake super early-We boarded between 12-1, which seemed to be the best. If you go too earlier it could be busy, as some people get there even before boarding starts (especially if they are traveling to departure location). And that still gives you time for lunch-Navigator app is really helpful to see schedule. We didn't use the messenging function because the wave phones were great-Be sure to return the kids bracelets, otherwise you get charged a fee (they are not very transparent about this)-Bring some gym clothes. You will feel better about eating so much-Book the activities early, as they sell out well in advance of the cruise-We got a discount for the cruise by purchasing through Costco -The photo package is quite expensive. But if you think you are going to do it, try to get as many of the professional photos as possible, because there is a package that comes with ALL the photos, which could be decent value if you have enough-We got a room with a window, but this may have not been necessary because we were rarely in it. There is more than enough ocean view from the deckEnjoy! More...

Just came back from a 3-night Very Merry Christmastime cruise out of Miami for Thanksgiving weekend. This was our first Disney cruise, and I'd like to say it won't be our last. ..but I'm not so sure because they're incredibly pricy. I don't know how people can afford to go on multiple Disney Cruises...one thing I kept thinking about was how much money there is in this world because many, many folks I overheard were saying this was their "nth" one. Crazy! The attention to detail and execution of all activities/meals by Disney is truly a remarkable study in human behavior. The Disney Magic has three main restaurants: Animator's Palate (I love me a good pun), Rapunzel's Royal Table, and Lumiere's. In my experience Rapunzel's was the best, but Lumiere's left me feeling pretty "meh". Drinks were reasonably priced throughout the ship, which was a pleasant surprise.Cleanliness is a top priority on the ship, too. They hand you sanitizing wipes prior to every meal and have handwashing stations at the entrance of the buffet restaurant, Cabanas. Pro-tip: try the butter chicken at cabanas.Castaway Cay was beautiful! The weather was spectacular but it made the water a little too cold- we didn't mind though. Still went swimming! We rented bikes, which was my favorite activity on the island. The kids' clubs are amazing, but my daughter didn't want to be "alone" at the kids' club so we didn't get to have too much adult time on the ship. The nursery was great, though. They were really on top of everything with my son and messaged us to update on how he was doing. All in all, Disney really knows how to make an enjoyable vacation for the entire family. I wish I could afford another one next year, but I think it's gonna be a while before we have the funds to repeat this. Additional tip: Unless you arrive at the port early in the morning, DO NOT PARK THERE. It is crazy crowded. The closest garage with available spots at 1pm was a 25 minute walk from the Disney terminal. I guess the good thing about that was the extra calorie burn for all the food we consumed on the ship! Where do I begin?First of all I have never been on a cruise. And actually I never thought that I wanted to go on a cruise. The idea of being trapped on a boat with no escape kind of scares me. However I've turned 40 and I thought it would be fun to do a big family trip for my birthday and a cruise seemed to be easier. And if anyone can do a cruise that I would enjoy it would be Disney. And boy was I right.I booked the cruise through Costco and it worked out really well because the pricing was the same as the Disney cruise line website however they gave me a Costco Cash card after I returned home. Which was a nice perk. I needed a handicapped room for my mother-in-law and they were very accommodating working directly with Disney to get our rooms close together.  We weren't right next to each other but we were just a few doors down which was perfect. We did the 3 night Halloween on the High Seas Cruise. On embarkation day we went through security and went up the escalators to the area where we checked in for the cruise.  We checked our luggage and were ready to board the ship.  That area was fun because everyone was excited and there was a model ship and Mickey was there for photo opportunities. Once we got to the ship our rooms were actually ready so we checked them out and were pleased.  We had a verandah room and it had a spacious balcony with 2 chairs and a great view.  Inside there was a queen bed, a couch which turned into a bunk bed (bed from the couch and bed from the ceiling), Also a bed came down from the wall.  There was plenty of space.  The room was very clean and I loved the 2 bathrooms (one with a toilet and sink and one with a tub/shower and sink) It made it seemed less crammed.  Every night we had new towel animals and a navigator with turn down service, and they always left us chocolates and more toiletries.  Room service was fast, delicious, and free.  And the staff who cleaned and turned down our room was wonderful.  Now I will highlight what I loved about this cruise. The service - We had rotational dining and each night was assigned a different restaurant - each with their own theme.  Our servers stayed with us for each place and dressed the part at each place.  Because of this they got to know us pretty well and gave us little things that made us feel special.  Like a special glass of wine or cutting my mother in law's steak and having a ginger ale waiting for her.  When my son was in a port hole enjoying the view a kid walked by and puked in the hall.  My son looked at me horrified and our server came running out of the restaurant and go go gadget armed him out of the porthole and returned him to us wiping him down all the way.  The food - you could have as much as you wanted.  The restaurant food was good and they had no issues with us ordering more than one appetizer, entree, etc.  Also room service is available 24/7 and is pretty fast.  I love that you can bring two bottles of wine or a 6 pack of beer per person on board.  I enjoyed a glass of wine on my verandah with some room service cheese.  Also the buffet, pizza and burger area, and various coffee shop treats were lovelyThe entertainment - Fireworks on board?  Movies on demand?  Broadway style entertainment?  GAH!  The Beauty and the Beast show was top notch.  I can't even believe this was all done on a ship. Room comfort - I don't think I've ever slept better.  That bed was just lovely and the staff always kept up with keeping it made up and turned down appropriately.  Amazing. Cons:  that I had to get off the ship and that I didn't go longer.  Oh also its more expensive than other cruise lines, but based on all of the things I listed above, to me, it was WELL worth it!I could go on and on and on but I won't because I can't write TOO much but if you want any feedback on this cruise line hit me up.  I am a forever Disney Cruise Line lover. Must-do vacation! The level of quality and attention to detail is amazing! The crew gets to know you and truly cares about your day. The dining room servers learn your preferences and are fantastic. There are tons of characters that you would wait hours for in the parks. Their private island, Castaway Cay, is amazing! It is so clean with thousands of chairs, so you don't have to worry about not getting one. The water is crystal clear with lots of big fish in the snorkeling lagoon. The entertainment is nothing short of fantastic! We saw three broadway style shows including Aladdin and Frozen. They also had various other entertainers that were great. More...

Disney service does not disappoint, and the service on the Disney cruise lines exceed the parks by miles!  Just wrapped up our second 7 day Disney Cruise and are planning our third for 2021.  Don't be misled into thinking this is strictly for kids; there are just as many adult only areas as there are kids areas.  And to answer the question, yes we have crossed with other cruise lines, but have found the Disney to be the best. The child care was a hit with our kids and afforded my wife and I a lot of alone time.  With a couple of exceptions in the buffet area, the food in both the buffet and rotational dining was on par with several other 5 star restraints I have reviewed.  The entertainment was phenomenal! Broadway shows were spectacular and bright the kid out b in me.  My wife even got onto me for singing during some of the songs. The adults loved the formal night as did the girls who got to were their special dresses and makeup.  Our favorite by far was pirate night with the pirate party and fireworks. Absolutely amazing. This care free trip is a must. More...

The deck food caters to the kids (mostly), but I find things I like as well. The fitness centers are well equipped and clean. BEST CRUISE EVER!!!!! The boat I rode on was Disney Fantasy ( Biggest Disney Boat ) and heading to the Bahamas. We flew to Orlando, Florida. Drove 40 mins away to the Port. I really prefer Disney Cruise than theme parks now because it's very relaxing and you're on a Disney Cruise boat. Everything is well detailed with hidden Mickeys. It was a full magical experience for families if they want to stay inn & relax. It was so non stop all day of eating. Don't worry from being fed. The house of mouse got you. Everything was a true experience and unlimited food. They even have a soft serve and flo's cafe in there with their burgers and fries. It's just so fun and chill. The drinks was really good and worth it. Upstairs is mostly 18+ & up and downstairs is mostly for kids. They have a fitness center and a movie theater!!! With $4 popcorn! How amazing is that. I went to karaoke that night and they have a night club for 18+ & up. You can drink and mingle there. I wanna come back on this boat but hopefully to another land. We parked next to the other cruises. All in comparison! HANDS FREAKIN' DOWN; DISNEY CRUISE IS THE PRETTIEST BOAT EVER! More...
