I love this place! I bring my family here when I want to treat them to a nice dinner, great service and great atmosphere. My favorite thing to order is the Brisket stuffed sweet potato the service is always fast and friendly . This was a first time visit for me. I love how clean this venue was. They had a large menu for brunch with large portions. Drink specials are always great when visiting nice places. Great place to come with friends - for brunch, lunch, or dinner. This Dish Society also has a great location, right on Heights Blvd, which is right next to a walking trail and pretty close to the shops on 7th street as well (if you want to take a stroll before or after your meal). They have a great happy hour menu, where their food and drinks are all around $5. This is probably the best value you'll get here, because their happy hour menu actually comes with a lot of food and drink options - the rest of the food here is solid, but nothing too spectacular in my opinion. My one complaint is that the last time I was here, it took quite a while for our waiter to come by to give and pick up our check (it just kind of seemed like he stopped coming by, and it wasn't even a busy time). Dish Society is my "go to" for my family breakfast dates with my kids. The biscuits and gravy is fantastic. They changed the flour for the biscuits and it made this dish even better. I stopped in before an appointment the other morning solo, so I sat at the bar for breakfast.  It is such a busy time of year, but the staff handled every request and every group with special care and attention.  The staff (John, JP, Jayla...) at every level worked to keep the holiday crowd in the spirit!  I come here once every few months, but my recent two visits will make this a regular spot for me on my own, with friends, or with the whole family! I can not explain enough  how this place continues to amaze me . They have the best Red Velvet pancake in the world ,Not to forget they have the nicest employees ever . Everyone was very nice and Friendly. I could not decide which I wanted the Red Velvet or the Buttermilk Pancakes , so John the manger told us to try the the Red Velvet and if we didn't like it he would exchange it for us right away, and honestly the Red Velvet is the best pancake I have ever tasted in a long time. We have always had excellent service here from Tyler and the other staff. They always have a solid tap list with at least one or two selections that will make even a picky beer nerd happy. All the cocktails I have tried are well-balanced and well thought out. I went here today for lunch and it was nothing short of amazing. My coworker was in the hallway and met a sweet girl named Gigi who was handing out cards for free meals to the restaurant. Since today is my coworkers last day with the company, we decided to go here for lunch. We were curious what they meant by "free meal" and expected to just get an appetizer. Instead, he got the brisket and eggs and I got the turkey avocado sandwich. Both were amazing. John Gil checked up on us to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Since we enjoyed our food so much, we also got dessert. I got the apple pie, my coworker got the chocolate cake. Both were even better than our meals. I can't wait to go back! Pork Belly Bites are amazing! The protein options that they put on salads are the perfect amount. The price point at Dish Society is spot on given that they source their ingredients locally and that the menu is seasonal. My colleague really enjoyed his Houston Hot Chicken Sandwich! The breakfast here was so good, I was stuffed. My friend and I went on 12/15 to have breakfast and mimosas. First thing I noticed was the service, everyone was very attentive, the young lady Niketa was all smiles. I know we had to have asked her for jelly, napkins and every single time she was so pleasant. Thanks Niketa for making our day! Now on to the food, I had the Southern Breakfast Skillet and it was sooo good. It was pork sausage, skillet potatoes, jalapeños, onions, peppers, scallions, gruyere, gravy & sunny side eggs, I had my eggs over easy. My Friend had the Brisket & Eggs - Texas cab smoked brisket with tomatillo relish, two range sunny side eggs, smoked gouda grits, & house buttermilk biscuit. Let me tell you that biscuit was soft and flacky and buttery.. Im getting hungry again just thinking about it. This location was spacious and had lots of sunlight, a small outside seating area and a great bar area. Had a late lunch here and was blown away by the hot chicken sandwich - to put it simply, it was the best chicken sandwich i’ve ever had in my life. I also tried a brisket sandwich as they had a buy one get one promotion via facebook that I claimed, which was a cool deal. we came here for Sunday brunch at noon, so I was expecting a long long wait, but nope! you order at the counter, and the line was relatively short and moved pretty quickly (~8 people in front of us). it's self-seating but there were plenty of indoor and outdoor tables available! The interior was very clean and modern, and the food came out pretty quickly! Solid quality food and reasonable prices. My favorite from the items we ordered was the breakfast skillet because it was so flavorful, especially with the runny egg yolk on top. This place will be added to my dependable brunch spots list! This is such a laid back place to meet up for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I've been to dish society several times but this was the first time I came to this location. I like that there is a waiter instead of ordering up in the front. I got the pesto pasta with chicken and it definitely hit the spot. It was delicious! I expected more dessert options though. I ended up getting the chocolate cake, which was good but not great. I also got the white chocolate bread pudding and that was a little bit of a disappointment. I have visited two times in the last week. The customer service, the food and atmosphere was all FANTASTIC. The cashier/greeter (Giovanni) is absolutely the best. He knows customer service and that was my top reason for my second visit. Today, was nothing short of amazing. The chef himself offer us Brussels sprouts that was delicious and talk to us for a few minutes. I love the love the workers have at this location. Came for a birthday brunch with my boyfriend on a Saturday. Wasn't crowded at all but there were enough people. Food was delicious (highly recommend red velvet pancakes) and since it was my boyfriends's 21st, we ordered a pitcher of cranberry mimosas (also amazing!!) love this little place

I actually enjoyed Dish Society far beyond what I expected.The decor inside reminded me of a True Foods kitchen, but the food that is served here is heartier, more flavorful, more complete while still being a farm-to-market type of menu. It was delicious. During lunch, they do a fast casual style while dinner is served with wait staff. This location in particular has plenty of parking, being in conjunction with the garage of an apartment complex. And there's a nice outdoor seating area. The food was really good. I got their new fried chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun, super tasty! The staff was all friendly, professional, and efficient. They were able to make my sandwich with less spice which was much appreciated. Only downside was the aesthetic is very modern and clean with almost nothing soft to absorb sound so it was a bit noisy. Yailen AND Tyler are the best! My husband and I came to Dish Society for the first time and sat at the bar. The restaurant is nice and the food was amazing! We came for brunch on Saturday 12/7 and were not disappointed! I got the southwest scramble and my husband got the chimichurri steak tacos, both were delicious. First things first--Reggie was a phenomenal server and promptly took care of us from the minute we stepped into the  restaurant! Secondly, the entire staff was available to help address any of the things we were needing (I.e. more silverware for the entire party, ketchup, napkins, etc.). We received our food a few short minutes after ordering and the temperature and portion size(s) were perfect! There is the ability to need a to-go box if you order the hash and even the  other house favorites! I had the chicken & biscuits and have no complaints whatsoever. Tasty! Really loved this place! We had the pretzels and cheese and well as the fried grits balls! They were both really good! Both recommendations from our waiter.
