I got the salmon with cranberry chutney and butternut squash risotto and OMG sooo delicious. My mother got the chicken and sister got a salad and they loved it. The wait was a little long and the building is a little tight, but the food makes up for it. Plus the people working there are great. Had an awesome time and will definitely be going back More...

Great food and friendly staff. The only downside is the restaurant and parking lot are kind of small so it can be tough getting a parking spot or a table. But it's worth the wait!

I got the fish and chips with a side salad with homemade champagne salad dressing. My mom got the salmon with the risotto cake and pesto sauce. She loved the salmon I thought it was good but kind of bland. My fish and chips was fried perfectly and tasted awesome with tartar sauce. The dressing I had with my salad was amazing and slightly sweet. The drink selection was really good and so was the service. More...

What a great spot! Food, drinks, and service are all top notch. The menu is varied... you can grab appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrees, and deserts to satisfy whatever you're hungry for. Cocktails and a nice assortment of wine and beer are served by a friendly and attentive staff. Not much staff turnover at this place and they are a great team. Colin and Samantha have done a great job putting together a winning formula. There are just too many favorites to list but, trust me, you won't be disappointed.Enjoy! More...

Great place to watch a Football game if you are looking for a little bit of a classier sports bar with amazing wine and food. We very much enjoyed our dinner and drinks, in an environment that was comfortable for non-sports bar types. We later learned that this place was loved and enjoyed by our local wine bar friends. Highly recommended! More...

Love this place, great food, friendly bar staff that know how to pour the perfect pint of Guinness and outstanding food all this will make sure we head back. We were there on probably one of the busiest day's they have in Plymouth, with the Thanksgiving parade on we knew most places would be busy, but what was most surprising about Dillon's was that the majority of customers in there were regulars, so it obviously gets busy all the time, a very good sign.Ed and Nicky behind there bar were in perfect sync, quick with refills and always a smile, a winning combo. We tried the special of the day Thanksgiving egg rolls apps, turkey, mash potatoes and cranberry served wrapped in an egg roll wrapper served with a side of delicious gravy for dipping, these were delicious.Couple of our party tried the french onion soup and noted it was one of the best they've had, i'm eager to go back and try one of the many traditional Irish dishes listed on the menu, especially the Guinness battered fish and chips.... All in all a wonderful experience. More...

Awesome, Lil bar we found by accident. Went to Parade and was looking for a place to use bathroom . Great friendly place. Ed and Nicky were incredible. And the food was incredible. French onion soup is one of the best. Even the buffalo chicken pizza was really good considering it's a pub ! Unique Thanksgiving eggroll was a hit ,especially with the brown gravy to dip in ! Even though the place was packed ,the barkeeps were super efficient and unbelievably friendly ! Great lil find that we will definitely be back to next year when the 400th Thanksgining Parade kicks off ! More...

I had their clam chowder, brussels sprouts, and fish and chips. The food was fantastic! Clam chowder was better than the award-winning clam chowder at CabbyShack. Something about the leeks. Three different kinds of homemade ranch? Are you kidding me! Awesome! And the coleslaw that came with the fish and chips was not an afterthought. Very light flavorful dressing and very fresh. What could be better than the food? Emily my waitress! Fantastic service, friendly, offering suggestions and telling me about their three different kinds of ranch, and then coming back to ask me which one was my favorite. More...

Yelp review was spot on. Stopped by for an early cocktails and dinner and wasn't disappointed. Nice selection of beers on tap as well as decent wine choices. All of the portions, both appetizers and entrees, were generous and flavorful. Staff was both attentive and patient as we sampled several different beers. If you show up after 5:00, be prepared to wait, but don't sweat it, go have a cocktail and relax More...

We chose this place because of its proximity to Plymouth Memorial Hall where we had tickets for a performance. Service was welcoming and friendly, attentive. The beers on tap were local offerings with something for everyone. The chowder was unusual with a little sweet taste, maybe from leeks? but quite good, creamy and well balanced. We both had one of the specials, a seafood casserole that had plenty of lobster, scallops and clams in a creamy sauce with bread crumb topping. More...

I love this place. We've been visiting Dillon's Local for several years now and we have never had a bad experience. These folks know what they're doing. Food, drinks, and service are all top notch. If you go to Dillon's enough, you'll notice the staff is the same. Not much turnover noticed here and these folks are a talented team.Colin and Samantha have done a great job putting the perfect formula together. Try the Shepherds Pie Croquettes, Pretzels with Beer Cheese, or a Taco Flatbread for an appetizer. Dillons is always my first place of choice when I have come back mid - evening from a music practice ... It is a menu that has variety. I do have some “go to” meals in mind when I think of them - Shepherds pie is my husband’s favorite while mine is their Duck with risotto and broccoli - They have a good selection of beers - the service is friendly and no one rushes you - It is lively and on Monday night they have a great Irish band - who never disappoint! I'd rather that than too little salt.We sat on the porch which was really nice. Not many tables and fairly quiet.Pro tip: the bathrooms are by the front door, so walk around from the outside of your on the porch on a busy night. More...
