What makes a great website?
A great website should have a clean concise design, well thought out typography choices, and be easily navigable. The goal is to create a natural experience for your website viewer's, so that they don't need to think too hard to get the information they're looking for.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Do you currently have a website? If so, what do you like and dislike in your current website?
Do you have an established brand?
What is the main goal you want to achieve with your website? Do you want people to call, download a file, purchase a product, etc?
What do you want people to think or how do you want them to feel when people visit your website?
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
To begin work, it's best to collect all information you already have. If you have any of the following please provide, your current website link, a brand guideline or book, logo, slogan or tagline, photos, graphics, testimonials, social media links, public contact information, and any written content. I understand you may not have all or any of that information yet, but we'll work together to acquire all of the information we need.
