My husband makes the most amazing craft cocktails often times with botanicals we grow. This is somewhat spoiled me to where I can’t find places to eat that have good cocktail menus much less actually having veg food… Diegos WAS AMAZING and the cocktails were greatly comparable to my husbands and the veg menu my entire family was ecstatic about! I ordered the Seared Tuna with a side app of calamari and my wife ordered the steak quesadilla. Before this we were met with quick and friendly a very experienced staff in spite of the Corona crunch for labor. That alone is impressive. The tuna was comparable to a really well dressed plate that had so many raw and interesting flavors I truly enjoyed it. It came with a habanero and onion sauce with such sweetness and bite that I was truly satisfied. The calamari was cooked to tender and also had a nice heat blended with a great side sauce. Sami is the beef eater and complained that her dish was too good to believe. She savored every bite and then had a bit of the calamari also, which she rarely does. The waitress Saydee was magnificent and even took some pictures for is because we were celebrating our 31st anniversary. Five stars in my book More...

Meghan, who greeted us when we arrived and who arranged a seat for us, checked in with us during the experience to be sure we were happy. Zach, our server, hooked us up with anything we needed. Yesterday my husband and I made reservations for 2:30 arrived at 2:25 were sat right away by a friendly host then our server can over shortly to drink order asked if we wanted chips. We asked to add to them a order of salsa and spicy guacamole. He then came back to take our order we gave him our appetizer order and lunch order. We never saw him again about 45 minutes after seating we asked another server about our server and where our appetizers were. He came to see us said he would look into it. I was a bit frustrated (because I was taking my husband out for a nice lunch for our 20th anniversary and this restaurant came highly recommended by my boss). My husband said to the server just bring us our check server left half minute later he comes back with appetizers and lunch entrees all at once. He brought along the GM we were told they were short staffed and would remove one appetizers to be sorry for the delay. I just hand my card over said ring us up paid the whole bill and left a tip. I did take one bite of food and it was cold we just left all four plates of food and left. So upset will never recommend this restaurant. I did send a message in the online booking service they use have not heard back from them. I do understand the inside and outside of working in food and beverage I have worked in the business over the years on private resorts, very large restaurant now I work in a small family owned restaurant I am will to be understanding but to be forgotten and brushed off is insulting. Food was great until I got food poisoning from it. Was on the bathroom floor all night. This is the 3rd case of food poisoning (that I know of) within the past 2 weeks at this location. Avoid if possible.
