Nice arrangement for small businesses to have access to resources that would otherwise be hard to obtain.

I was unsure what to expect on my first visit but I quickly felt at ease and happy with my choice. Diane immediately put me at ease and established a strong sense of trust. After my first visit, and all subsequent visits, I leave feeling re-invigorated and more focused on what it takes to heal and renew myself. She helps put the skills and understanding in my own hands which is empowering and deeply satisfying. I highly recommend Diane! More...

Q&As

I love helping people find the tools they have within themselves to overcome an obstacle or accomplish a goal.

I first started learning the healing arts, CranioSacral Therapy in particular, in 2010 when it cured my son of a major form of epilepsy. I reached the advanced level and loved learning how to dialogue with the subconscious mind. Hypnotherapy is an extension of the dialoguing skills I learned in CST, and I'm fascinated with the power of language to create real change in the mind and body by working with inner characters, symbols, and metaphors.

Getting direct access to the subconscious mind makes this a fast approach. We can cover enormous ground in as little as one or two sessions by skipping extraneous details and getting straight to the language of the subconscious mind - the images, symbols, and metaphors.

I have been an English Instructor at Everett Community College since 2000. My background in the language arts gives me unique skills in Hypnotherapy by working with your inner characters, symbols, metaphors, narratives, and use of language.

What internal dialogue is keeping you in unwanted patterns?
Which personality part is holding you back in your life?
Which past event/s do you need to reprocess?
What internal conflict needs resolution?
What does your inner child want to say?
What is your pain or illness telling you?
What is your fear really about?
What are you ready to release?
What is your narrative, and what would you like it to be?

I facilitate the dialogue to help you access the answers you already have within you.

According to RCW 18.19.020, "Counseling" means employing any therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, and hypnotherapy, for a fee that offer, assist or attempt to assist an individual or individuals in the amelioration or adjustment of mental, emotional, or behavioral problems, and includes therapeutic techniques to achieve sensitivity and awareness of self and others and the development of human potential. For the purposes of this chapter, nothing may be construed to imply that the practice of hypnotherapy is necessarily limited to counseling.

According to The Upledger Institute International website, "CranioSacral Therapy (CST) was pioneered and developed by osteopathic physician John E. Upledger following extensive scientific studies from 1975 to 1983 at Michigan State University, where he served as a clinical researcher and Professor of Biomechanics.

CST is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.

Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system.

By complementing the body's natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction."
