Joyce is INCREDIBLE!!!!! A TRUE professional and dog guru. We had reached out to Joyce and almost instantly she responded: asking questions about our pup and our family's needs.
She was so "on it," invested, and personable... we had not even met in person yet and she was already giving us some tips to help us get through the few days leading up to the first lesson.
Our first session, Joyce came over with a bunch of potential snacks and toys for our pup. This allowed us to see which ones our little guy had an interest in. In addition, she brought several packets with potty training tips, crate game instructions, etc. She walked us through the exercises and and answered all of our questions enthusiastically. We saw results almost immediately; my fiance and I were stunned.
Before the second session, I reached out to Joyce requesting that we primarily focus on our dog's independence and separation anxiety. She came to our second session with a personalized hand out on "Groot Independence." This was specialized to our home layout. I am so grateful for how she caters to us and all of her families dependent on their specific needs. It is clear how much she cares.
We cannot wait for our next meet with Joyce! I do not know who is looking more forward to it... us or our pup!

What do you love most about your job?
I love working with people and helping them to train their dogs. I help people solve problems and develop an even better understanding of their dogs and hopefully an even better relationship.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been self driven and work hard. Starting my own Dog Training business was a natural progression for me.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am sympathetic and understanding. I listen to the person, find out their problems and goals. I work with the person and the entire family. I also have over 30 years experience. I have seen most problems and have helped people to solve those problems.

Yes, at the moment I do offer remote training. This allows me to work with people in all parts of the country. I usually work through Facebook Messenger to have a virtual appointment.
I also offer private in home lessons in my area within 15 miles of Norwalk, Ct.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
When I speak with a new client, I tell them I have been vaccinated and a booster. I ask if they have been vaccinated and also anyone participating in the appointment in the home.
I tell them I will be wearing a mask during the entire appointment and ask that everyone at the appointment also wear a mask. I disinfect my hands before and after each appointment and disguard the mask after the appointment. Of course for remote lessons, these precautions are unnecessary.
