Destiny was absolutely amazing and might I add, so adorable and easy to work with. I was worried about this part, since I’m fairly minimalistic with my everyday look, but she understood the wedding look I was envisioning and really validated the ideas I had, which made me feel so confident and comfortable! ! The trial run really helped and the day of ended up being so much more fun with her there; being able to trust what she was doing with my makeup and hair also just eased my anxiety! I am so beyond thankful that my wedding coordinator referred me to Destiny. From the beginning, she was so responsive, easy going (which is HARD to find in an artist, at least the ones I had been corresponding with) and dedicated to the overall vision I had for my bridal look. The day we had my makeup/hair trial I was brought to tears when she handed me the mirror. I have gotten SO many compliments on my hair and makeup, and more importantly I felt like the most stunning bride, which was priceless. Destiny immediately restored my confidence during our trial - she is experienced with both weddings & commercial, & understands how to skillfully create a variety of looks, including for women of color like myself.
Destiny did hair & makeup for myself, my sister & my friend the day of the wedding. All three of us wanted different looks & we each ended up with exactly what we wanted. My sister & friend looked gorgeous & I left for the venue feeling beautiful!
In addition to being talented, Destiny is friendly & easy to talk to. Chilling out with her, my sister & my friend just chatting & watching TV as we got ready was so relaxing & one of the highlights of my day. I am grateful!

I want to give Destiny a HUGE thank you!!! She did such an amazing job on my makeup for my wedding!!! She is so sweet and made me feel so comfortable! ! I had brought a bottle of champagne with me and Destiny, knowing that I was tying the knot at Edgefield later that day, even pulled out two Edgefield champagne flutes she had!!! I thought it was very thoughtful of her and added something extra special to the morning! Destiny did such a fantastic job on my makeup, it was exactly what I was hoping for!! She created exactly what I asked for, which was more of a natural look. I was soooo happy with the work that Destiny did!!! She was so professional with me and flexible with my schedule. Leading up to the wedding she was checking in with me, asking me to send her pics for inspiration, and coordinating a time to meet that worked for me. SOOO TALENTED!!! I booked Destiny to be my MUAH for my engagement photos and wedding and I was soo impressed with her and her talent. Destiny is very professional and easy to work with and listens to what you want. I was completely blown away of how she did my hair and make up for my engagement photos, she nailed the look I was going for and made me look better could ever dream of. So of course I had to have her for my wedding day and she made me feel so beautiful and did exactly what I had always dreamt of for my big wedding day. The way she does makeup elevates my photos as a photographer. Oh, and that vintage yet modern hair she does! OMG!!! It’s my favorite hair ever! I booked Destiny for hair and makeup for my engagement shoot. Destiny was professional, responsive and most importantly, beyond talented. I'm biracial and was worried about past bad experiences with other makeup artists because of my complexion. Destiny reassured me and then proved that I didn't have a thing to worry about. My hair and makeup for my engagement shoot was beyond my expectations. I felt drop dead gorgeous and timeless. I knew I had to book her for my wedding day. My husband and I got married on a rainy Portland evening at the courthouse. Destiny worked well under our tight schedule and somehow made me feel ever more beautiful than she had the first time.
