My favorite part of the fair is the Emblem Club tacos. I remember my grandmother working in the taco booth for many, many years at the old fairgrounds - can still totally remember exactly what the booth looked like. In the old days you could go any night of the fair and always see old friends and catch up and you knew school starting was right around the corner! More...

I love this page it has so much information on different events going on throughout lancaster . I love AV fair I not only have so many memories of going their with my friends when I was younger and being brave going on all the super fast rides and as the years went by and had my daughter taking her to the fair and watching her face light up as she got on the rides and the disappoint when she was to big for her favorite kiddie ride to being brave as she got older and got on the faster rides and showing her goat during high shook and winning the championship & now she is a young adult we enjoy going and walking around eating the tacos and going to the concerts & she enjoys going with her friends and walking around and love to take my parents as well it is a great family thing to do together each year I fair time

My favorite thing at the fair is going to one of the Derby races. It's exciting to watch! Also, the spokesperson is usually really funny as he describes what is happening during the show.
