Design Line Works

We are a few weeks after the completion of our kitchen remodel. As you can see from the pictures, it was a complete gut and rebuild.

We could not be happier with our kitchen...and we could not have done it without Deb and her crew. Deb was instrumental in coming up with creative solutions to problems and was also very helpful in coming up with ways we could save money in order for us to get all the things we wanted from our new kitchen.

Debra James did an incredible job designing and implementing three bathrooms for me.
All three (includes a master bath) look wonderful just as depicted on the design drawings.
Debra was very nice to deal with and her recommendation for the contractor worked out great as well.
I would certainly recommend Debra to anyone who wants to remodel their bath or kitchen.
She was also very helpful recommending other services to me that proved to be perfect for the work I needed to have done.

Kudos to Debra James and her construction specialists. Our Master Bath total redesign exceeded ALL of our expectations. Without her considerable expertise, I shudder to think of the consequences.

I hired Debra to create the specifications for a kitchen remodel so that I could shop for cabinets. The job was limited to the specifications only. She was professional and answered my emails and phone calls within 24 hours. I found her to be very knowledgeable about kitchen design. She also has vendors for cabinets and granite that she can recommend. As with any project, I would suggest verifying the dimensions on the specifications to ensure the design is what you expect. Debra James helped with design and implementation of our kitchen and master bath renovation, as well as installation of new flooring throughout our home. She listened carefully to what we had in mind and made recommendations that were both practical and design-centric. She suggested minor tweaks that we would not have thought of, that added much to the finished product. Her recommended contractor was fantastic - could not have asked for more in that regard. Unlike many designers, she was not constantly trying to "up-sell" to ultra-high end materials/products -she kept the budget in mind. Abosolutly positively Awesome! I worked with Debra James recently and I was very impressed with her ability. She was hired by the homeowner and I was the Contractor. I work with alot of designers and none of them are better than Debra. She made it easy for me to do my job taking care of the design and the finish products so all I had to do was concentrate on my end of the work. The job came out fantastic! I love working with a good designer because when you see the final product it makes me look Great!

I had cabinets and curio built on to the wall in my living room. I also installed an electric fireplace in which they built the outer box for that. It turned out beautiful. We had some bumps along the way but we are very happy with the quality of work. Debra designed this cabinet and worked very hard on it. I consulted with Debra to create an addition to my kitchen. I needed additional storage, but also wanted a nice piece to use as a buffet. Debra was really knowledgeable and had many suggestions in all price ranges. She initially drew up plans for a unit that had all the bells and whistles. She said we could go from there. As I needed to stay within a certain budget, Debra was really helpful with giving me suggestions on alternate materials and ways to cut some corners without sacrificing quality on the final piece. In the end we had an addition to our kitchen which we are just thrilled with.

I would recommend Debra to anyone wanting to do some remodeling or additions. Although she was involved with numerous other projects, I always felt that she made mine a priority. More...

My husband and I were remodeling our kitchen. We needed to keep the cabinets the same but were changing the tile, backsplash, and countertops. We brought in a sample of the countertops and cabinets and had Debra help us select a backsplash and floor tile. This was a difficult task considering we did not like the color of our cabinets. Debra did a wonderful job helping us select a floor tile and backsplash design that made the cabinets look completely different! It completely changed the look of our kitchen. We were so impressed!
