What’s your interior design process?
When beginning any project, I start surveying all of my clients needs. I turn all of their ideas into a formal scope of work list and provide a rough budget for them to understand what everything could cost.
We go from there to establish their personal design style to make sure we know what goals we are going be working toward. We will do this via Pinterest and through Design Presentation Boards that I will prepare for you.
Once scope + design direction are established, we move into planning and sourcing. If floor plans and construction / fabricstuon drawings are required, I will prepare them for contractors to build off of . I can handle contractor communication during construction.
I will source material (tile, flooring, countertops, paint color, etc.), furniture, lighting fixtures + additional decor items, all of which will be presented for client review and approval.
After things are approved and tracked against the budget, I will provide formal proposals for thr clients, order everything and handle installation oversight to make sure your space comes together as planned.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I work with all design styles. My main goal is to find the style my clients prefer and work with them to refine it so that we create a timeless design that is worth investing in. My personal taste is on the neutral yet eclectic side, but love to work in all genres of design, such as traditional, modern and transitional.
What do you love most about your job?
There are so many elements to a job in Interior Design. I am most passionate about making sure my clients love what result the project has, but also - making sure the overall project is handled in an organized and well communcated fashion.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After 7 years of doing Interior Design at various firms and being the in-house designer for Tender Greens restaurants, I decided I wanted to go out on my own. Having a variety of client types and different projects keeps me inspired and on my toes.

I help clients understand what realistic expectations to have when beginning a project that is costly, and provide industry knowledge to avoid working with contractors that can make or break a projecf.
Hourly Interior Design Consulting
Hourly consulting can be purchased for a project that doesn’t have a large scope or if a client is not sure what they are set on doing yet.

Flat Rate Furnishing Design
If you have a single room (or multiple rooms) that you’d like furnished, that do not require a large amount of customization, I can provide general furnishing specifications at a flat rate.
Flat Rates will depend in how much merchandise will need to be sourced in the space + project budget.

Interior Design Retainer
If you are looking for a consultant to be involved in your full scope interior design project you can retain me for an estimate of hours to design + consult.
This is usually used for renovations in a portion of or all of your home or commercial space.
We would begin the project with my typical process to understand the overall scope of work. I would then provide an estimate of hours that the entire project would take and you would retain me on a portion of that total based on my hourly rate.
