It was my first time at the Funny Bone. My wife and I stayed in DSM from out of town to attend a show after doing some Christmas shopping. The food and service was great! However, I was highly disappointed in the act (Doug Thompson). I was expecting a good time with laughter. I didn’t find the show very funny and left feeling like money was wasted and could’ve been better spent having a nice dinner with my wife elsewhere. More...

We attended the Freedom to Laugh Comedy Tour September 24. EXCELLENT! The staff was very efficient, the food was excellent, but the talent was superb! I recommend everything about Funny Bone there in West Des Moines, Iowa. They have great prices for drinks, soda and food. They have great staff and managers . My husband and I came to see Drew Lynch last night. Justin Foster was first. Both comics are amazing. They should come to Iowa’s more often. Very humble men. We did the meet n greet. Got pictures and autographs and met the amazing Stella. I adore her, she was so sweet. The whole night was amazing. I can’t wait to see Pauly Shore in October. I LOVED The Funny Bone! My mom and I went and saw David Koechner last night. He was absolutely hilarious! The opening act was so funny as well! Our server was awesome, he made sure to check on our table frequently and got our food and drinks out to us in great time. Wonderful service by him. I ordered the grilled cheese and fries, delicious. Piping hot sandwich, strong drinks, and the fries were crispy to perfection. I truly can’t believe some of these negative reviews on here. The atmosphere, staff, and food is awesome at this place.
