I had a photo shoot yesterday to help jump start my furniture business. It was cold REALLY cold, but His skills are hot! !!!!

From our very first email he was professional, very informative and willing to answer even my dumbest questions. He was extremely flexible. I got to pick where I had my shoot. Beautiful Lafayette Park.

He took my vision and completely ran with it simply exceeding my wildest dreams. He genuinely took an interest in what outcome I was looking for, what I do for work on a regular basis and how things organically happen in my business. He seems to be able to find beauty in things we a lot of the times see as no big deal and walk by. He was completely innovative! He was making art out of the shoot. You could literally see his wheels turning. His confidence put me at ease.

He arrived at the shoot location an hour ahead of time to scope out the lay of the park. He talked me through everything. I’m very uncoordinated even my face, but somehow he was able to make my face work! Even his raw unedited photos are far exceeding most of the photographers I’ve checked out locally. I’ve researched a lot!

Do yourself a favor and book this guy before he gets too busy! You will not regret it. He’s a real find!!! More...

I had been stalking Pinterest for what felt like forever to find the perfect theme for my little guys first birthday, I got in contact with Derek and he made that vision come to life! It was messy how I wanted it but I also got a good amount of pictures before the mess occurred �

Derek was very creative with the shoot, he was easy going and fun to work with! I highly recommend getting pictures done with him! We’ll be going back, no question about it!

Derek was a great photographer and surprised us with his attention to detail regarding things we didn't even consider. We didn't have much of a "vision" involving what we wanted from our day, and Derek put his own creative mind to work to come up with ideas for us which was extemely helpful! He researched the locations we wanted to have our photos taken to ensure he'd be fully prepared with the correct lighting and did a fantastic job with our final product. He has a great eye and can envision how things will look which was great for us as we really were quite naive. His communication is quite prompt and he was not only professional but also very personable through the entire process. Derek is a sensational photographer! We first won our engagement shoot with him, and it was a blast, his pictures blew us away. He was so organized and had everything planned out for that day, But after the viewing we both knew that we had to have him as the photographer for our wedding. Derek caught every moment that meant anything at our wedding, and then some. He pays attention to little details and always has you in mind and takes into consideration what you would like. My fiancée and I were very nervous to get our photos taken for the very first time. But Derek went above and beyond to get to know us and make us feel comfortable and beautiful! We completed a detailed questionnaire and met at our favorite bar to talk about our vision for the shoot. Because Derek took the time to get to know us, our shoot was specifically tailored to us. The session was so much more than your typical engagement shoot. Derek brought a prism to catch rainbows in the light, created a double exposure photo of our silhouettes in the trees, and photographed an artsy series of us walking toward each other. He focused on catching the candid moments of us interacting together rather than stiff poses. His creativity, vision, and ability to put us at ease resulted in absolutely beautiful photos!
