If an established company, I visit their website to become familiar with their identity. I may also need for them to send any previous samples or images that represent their brand identity in order to maintain consistency.

If a new business -- branding and logo creation, for example – I would need:
• A description of their products and services
• Their target audience – the client’s most desired customers
• If they have a unique selling point or “mission statement”
• A unique strength that separates them from their competitors
• A “tag line” if they wish to have it incorporated into the design
• Creative “Tone” they wish for the design: Informal / Formal / Business Corporate / Humorous
• Any Color and/or Font preferences
• Any preferences for general logo style (I can provide samples of 4 variations)
• Any imagery/design/style samples from other sources we might incorporate into the new design.

• And of course, our mutual agreement of job requirements, pricing and due date are needed!

I come from a science background, but always had a deep love for the visual arts. Years ago I changed gears and devoted my passions to graphic design. I like being able to combine the two – technology and the arts! I see every project as a great puzzle to solve. Mastering the technical side of the software and creatively performing with design, I have the best of both worlds! The best thing, though, is helping clients develop their business goals.

I’m from a family of small business owners – so it’s definitely in the blood! Plus, I’ve always been highly creative and self-motivated and design fits the bill!

With extensive web and printing experience, I help my clients project their best possible image! And, I design for real-world budgets and am experienced working with entrepreneurs, start-ups, and small businesses.
