What inspired you to start your own business?
I am building a nationwide immigration practice to help others achieve the security of proper immigration status.

I worked for the Office of Immigration Litigation at the U.S. Department of Justice for a decade. My knowledge of the process, understanding of immigration law, experience in the government, litigation skills, and valuable contacts at immigration-related agencies put me ahead of my peers.

I am available by phone, Zoom, and FaceTime. I am eligible to practice before all immigration-related agencies and most federal courts across the nation.

My practice is effective as virtual and remote unless the client requests otherwise.
Naturalization

Denaturalization
If the U.S. Government is seeking to strip your naturalized U.S. citizenship, Dempsey Law, PLLC will represent you in U.S. District Court and beyond. With the creation of the Denaturalization Section at the U.S. Department of Justice in February 2020, denaturalization actions are on the rise. Dempsey Law, PLLC is armed with knowledge gained from personally creating the Unit responsible for prosecuting civil denaturalization cases. Protecting your rights in this process and holding the Government to its strict degree of proof is our business.
Visas

Dempsey Law, PLLC will aggressively defend against your removal in Immigration Court, before the Board of Immigration Appeals, or on Petition for Review to a U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, by raising a myriad of defenses: waivers; cancellation of removal; suspension; adjustment of status; asylum; withholding; legalization; registry; or voluntary departure.
Asylum
If you are a person with a well-founded fear of persecution for reasons of race, religion, nationality, political opinion and/or membership in a particular social group, who has been forced to flee your country because of persecution, war or violence, Dempsey Law, PLLC will assist you in affirmatively applying for protection inside the U.S. or raising asylum as a defense to removal proceedings in Immigration Court, before the Board of Immigration Appeals, or on appeal to U.S. Circuit Court of Appeal.
Immigration Detention
In instances of pre- or post-removal order immigration detention, even upon conditions of release under orders of supervision, Dempsey Law, PLLC will bring a challenge in federal court seeking release or remedy of conditions of unauthorized, prolonged, or illegal detention in violation of due process rights via a writ of habeas corpus.
