For years I've had this back and chest pain that would pop up about twice a year and land me in the emergency room. Years, and this pain was so bad it would make it hard to breath. I was referred to this place by my primary physician. Within 20 minutes, DR. Giessman was able to tell me what was wrong, how it worked, and he knew just what to do to fix it. I didn't need x-rays or surgery.After the first session, I felt much better. The second session left me without any pain. The third session was really just a check up.The price is very good, the staff, all of the staff I've engaged with, are amazing and personable. I was in a horrific vehicle accident in 2005 that I almost died from. I have been plagued with back problems ever since. I have tried several different things to help with pain. I have gotten epidural and facet joint injections, prolotherapy, years of physical therapy, even had a spinal cord stimulator installed. In addition to these things I have been on strong narcotics to manage my pain. When my pain management doctor said he wanted to send me to physical therapy again something broke in me mentally. I was done following his orders and knew it was time to find my own solution. I began searching up surgeries in other countries. Planning on getting my Visa, packing my bags, and having back surgery somewhere else much affordable that would actually do a surgery. So while researching my trip I came across spinal decompression. There's a spinal decompression surgery and a spinal decompression procedure. I saw the procedure and read reviews and testimonials from people who had it done. After reading lots of good reviews I decided to go with Delta Spine and Sportcare. Called for an appointment and was able to get in right away with Dr. Nick, that was the moment my life changed. First visit after taking a history we agreed I could possibly benefit from spinal decompression. He told me I could try it that day and hooked me up and got started. Its a 15 minute procedure that is quite comfortable. After the procedure I felt a little tight but I stretched out and 20 minutes later I felt amazing! My pain had decreased from about a 9/10 to a 3/10. For the first time in almost 15 years I took next to no narcotic pain medicine for the next 2 days. Pain returned slowly over the next few days and I returned again to see Dr. Nick. Another round of decompression and I again felt great. I'm still going for treatment so I can't say this will for sure work long term. What I can say is I highly recommend Delta Spine and Sportcare, and I more than highly recommend Dr. Nick as a provider. I have known Dr. Dale since Chiropractic college. I trust Dr. Dale enough that he is the only Chiropractor that I send my family and friends too in the Brentwood area. Recently I traveled back to California for Fathers Day and unfortunately, re-injured the disk in my lower back, I literally could not move due to pain and spasms. I was able to get to Dr. Dale the following morning to see if he could help me. He was able to get me in before his shift and delivered a quality Chiropractic adjustment which relieved pressure to the injured disk and helped me enjoy the rest of my Fathers Day vacation.
