Neighborhood type of nice adult restaurant, but so much more! Co-worker brought me here for a quiet lunch, and then we came back the next week for drinks and appetizers (much more lively crowd! ). Tasty food, prepared with care, and the wait staff is attentive and wants to make sure you're happy. Danny the bartender is a font of knowledge and expertise in making your perfect drink. Oh, my gosh! We never dreamed Italian food could be so good. Our first trip last night started with the owner meeting us at the door and personally escorting us to a quiet table. The bar side was packed and a bit noisy. Other people obviously love this place. They were truly enjoying themselves.The service was the best anywhere. The staff was obviously well trained. All food came promptly. Their homemade bread melted under delicious homemade spread. The calamari was perfectly prepared with fresh squid cut on site and three different dips. Delicious! Our piping hot dinners were served by wonderful staff. I didn't realize Italy/American restaurants had such wonderful chefs . We frequent there with close friends on almost a weekly basis. Food is always good, the attention to detail is appreciated and the staff are some of the best at what they do. My only reason for demoting them a star is the noise level (and live music in the small space on top of it). I know the ownership changed not too long ago and (as a local business owner myself) I can appreciate their effort to liven the place up but seriously... please get some sound dampening panels or something in way of sound attenuation to spare my ears and you'll get much more from my wallet. Awesome experience from beginning to end! Came for dinner to celebrate my friend’s birthday. We arrived before the birthday girl and as we were entering we were greeted by Raul, who upon observing the gift bag in my hand immediately inquired if we were celebrating something and proceeded to ask if he could bring a treat over for the guest of honor. Talk about having foresight!!! The restaurant was fairly empty because we made the effort to get there before Happy Hour ended (at 6pm)and it was a Tuesday after all!! To make a long story short, our server Raul executed a flawless experience, the food was amazing and we have found our new favorite Italian spot and so close to home. Note to self: the Happy Hour has a great selection of wines by the glass and a great offering of apps. I also think they offer free corkage on the first bottle, and live music in the weekends. The food here is excellent and the menu has lots of choices. The wait staff is very friendly and a real delight. A real treat to have such an excellent restaurant here in MV.
